NH POP WARNER SEEKING SUPPORT FOR ITS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Each year, the National Pop Warner office recgonizes its top student-athletes or "Little Scholars."  In order to qualify as a "Little Scholar," a student must possess a grade point average of at least 96% and also participate in other non-athletic extra-curricular activities.  In 2008, our league had 58 athletes named to National Pop Warner's list of academic All-Americans.

We began to recognize our top student-athletes in 2007 with the forming of our annual scholarship program.  Since that time we have been able to award $9,000 to our recipients which can be used to further their education after high school.  Our goal in 2009 is to award $10,000 in academic scholarships (at a minimum) while also hosting our first annual Scholastics Banquet for deserving student-athletes and their families.

To that end, NH Pop Warner is seeking support from local businesses and private donors.  If you own or work for a business who could support this important endeavor, please go to the "SCHOLASTICS SPONSORS" link to the left for more information.
