"IT'S FOR THE KIDS"
Carson City Little League

CCLL Hosts 9 / 10 Year Old Tournament

The 9 / 10 District Tournament is in town.  Stop by and cheer some kids on.  For some of these ballplayers this will be their first tournament to ever play in.  Remember what kids on the field love – fans watching them!  For more information on this tournament see “All Star Tournament Page” Menu on the left.  The pop-up menu includes prior day results.

Fall Ball Registration is Here...

We are currently accepting Fall Ball registration.  This week you can stop by the ballpark and register in person.  In between Fields 1  2 & 3 a large tent is set up, stop by and register for this fun league.  Remember Fall in Carson City is beautiful weather for baseball.  Two forms are needed;  Medical & Fall Ball Registration, located in the “Handouts/Forms” Menu.   Cost is $50 each or $90 for family.  All games are played at the Sports Complex located on Edmonds Drive.   Practices, batting cages & pitching lanes can still be performed at Governor’s Field.

Father’s Day Breakfast – Good Food, Friends & Prizes

The Exhibit Hall at Fuji Park was the location to be on Father’s Day for breakfast.  Congrats to Wendy Sachs for winning the 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck that was donated by Dick Campagni's Carson City Toyota * Scion & Capital Ford * Mazda * Hyundai.

The winning ticket was sold by the winner’s child, so good job to him for winning the $100 savings bond.  Thanks to the volunteers & sponsors who helped make the day a success!  The estimate of gross income is $8,000 for our league.  Congratulations to our big sales winners: Mikayla Portch, Vinny Ferretti & Kristian Hollaway.  The team that won the Straw Hat Pizza party goes out to Farm Dodgers for overall team-involvement of ticket sales.

All Stars Teams

Check out the All Stars Menu to see this year’s post season teams.  Good luck to all the players.  This year the tournament locations are; Hooligan & Renegades playing at Washoe LL near the Mount Rose Highway,  the 11’s and 12/11 teams play in Gardnerville in the Rancho’s.

Indoor Facility Update

Click on the drawing to read the article in the Nevada Appeal.  Tim Terry is our Chairman for the Indoor Facility.  The facility is needed so the kids can practice even when the weather is not in our favor.  We started this project as a dream and it is starting to materialize.  If you would like to donate to this cause, please contact us.  To build this project with all the bells & whistles, cost is close to $440k and we have ear-marked $220k.  Construction could begin as early as this fall if funds continue at the rate they have.   For more details, see the information at the snack bar.
