Summer Basketball League
Summer is finally here and that means it is time to play summer basketball... The last registration will be Wednesday May 27th from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at the Carver Library. The fee will be $40.oo made payable to 'Town Of Carver'.

3rd & 4th Grade Playoff Game
On Sunday March 8th the 3rd and 4th Grade Girls played a game that will stand out for a long time. The Carver Recreation Team coached by Bob Noyes faced the M&M Blueboard Plastering coached By Gordon Hom for a battle that couldn't be decided in one day. After (2) 16 minute periods, and (3) 3 minute overtime periods, the girls were tied at 14 and physically exhausted.
When the game was resumed the following Tuesday night, it took 2 more overtime periods to decide a winner with Carver Recreation edging M&M by 2 points for a final score of 16-14. It was a great effort by both teams and the most competitive game I have watched this year.

Way To Go 5th Grade Girls
Congratulations to the 5th Grade Girls for taking 1st Place in the Plymouth Tournament. The girls, coached by Dave Bellando, gave CYBL its first tournament championship this year!! Way to go girls!!
4th Grade Boys Middleboro Champs
The 4th Grade boys are off to a great start. In their first year together they took home the first place hardware from Middleboro!!
7th Grade Girls Middleboro Champs
After 3 years together and a number of strong showings in travel tournaments,including (2) 2nd place finishes, the 7th Grade Girls finally took home the gold in Middleboro...
8th Grade Boys Middleboro Champs
The 8th grade boys have come a long way in the last 4 years, with many 2nd place finishes, but had yet to take first place in a tournament. In a division of very competetive teams they finally outlasted a very talented Harwich team in Middleboro for their first championship.
