Eliminations being moved from Windsor
As mentioned on the Windsor Area baseball news site (http://www.eteamz.com/micmac/index.cfm?) the Senior Men's elimination tournament will NOT be held in Windsor for 2009.
The tournament, which is scheduled to run on the July 31 - August 3 Civic long weekend will be moved to London.
Schedule and details to follow.
St. Catharines Metro's Tournament
The Oshawa Royals and the Whitby Canadians will be taking part in the Hap Walters Memorial Tournament held in St. Catharines on the July 17-19 weekend.
This tournament will feature some of the top senior teams in Ontario as they prepare for the Senioa A eliminations on the August Civic holiday weekend.
The 2009 tourney field consists of: Bulington Brants, Newmarket Hawks, host St. Catharines Metros, Windsor Stars, Etobicoke Rangers, Markham Pioneers, Whitby Canadians, Oshawa Royals, Erindale Cardinals, Leaside Leafs, Milton Red Sox and the Windsor Athletics.
The 2 EOBA teams find themselves in the same division, and will meet on Friday night at 8:30 at Community Park in St. Catharines.
On Saturday, the Royals will take on the Etobicoke Rangers at 10am and will then face the Markham Pioneers at 5:30pm.
The Canadians will play the Pioneers at 12:30pm and the Rangers at 3:00pm on Saturday.

UPDATE:
Unfortunately the Windsor Stars have withdrawn from participating in the the Oshawa Royals Tournament. Due to the lateness of the withdrawl, the Royals were searching for a replacement team. The Kendal Eagles have volunteered to take Windor's spot and will inherit their schedule.
The Oshawa Royals Invitational Tournament will be held this coming weekend: June 12, 13, 14. Games will be played at Kinsmen Stadium (Oshawa), Kirkey Field (Pickering) and Clarington Fields (Clarington). Joining the Oshawa Royals from the EOBA are the Whitby Canadians who are participating in this tournament for the first time.
The divisions are structured as follows:
Black) Markham Pioneers, Tecumseh Thunder, Erindale Cardinals, Whitby Canadians
White) Kendal Eagles (Formerly Windsor), Etobicoke Rangers, Leaside Leafs, East York Bulldogs
Blue) Oshawa Royals, St. Catharines Metros, Newmarket Hawks, Milton Red Sox
Oshawa's schedule is as follows:
Friday June 12th: Royals: 8 vs Newmarket Hawks: 1
Saturday June 13th: Royals: 7 vs Milton: 2
Saturday June 13th: Royals: 9 vs Metros: 7
Whitby's Schedule is as follows:
Friday June 12th: Canadians: 3 @ Markham Pioneers: 4
Saturday June 13th: Canadians: 5 @ Tecumseh: 2
Saturday June 13th: Canadians: 5 @ Erindale: 6 *8 innings
Kendal's Schedule is as follows:
