REFLECTIONS OF AN EAGLE
The hot month of August we meet down the park
The boys so excited that football can start.
Some of them veterans and some of them new
look at these kids, boy how they grew!
The coaches are eager to teach them the ropes
This heat is unreal- we hope they can cope!
Five nights a week it's football they learn
And after a month, not all will return.
The ones that remain are focused and strong and
With their coaches, a bond starts to form.
After while, with school back in session
Those two nights off feel quite refreshing!
All week long they prepare for the game
Rain or Shine it's all the same.
They give it their all and play with their hearts
The Offense, the Defense, they all do their part.
Before we know it, the season is done
It's time to look back and reflect on the fun.
Thanks to our girls who cheer the teams on
Without you all, the spirit would be gone.
Thanks to the players who made us so proud
Thanks to the parents for cheers from the crowd.
To our loyal coaches, who invested their days
You most of all, deserve all our praise!
