FLY RIGHT LANDS IN 2nd AT HESPERIA LPS TOURNEY
(top) BRANDON, JAKE, LES, DJ, DARREN, TED, RYAN, NATE
(bottom) RAY, WILLIE, ROGER, KEVIN.
The team worked their butts off all day long. Ankles were twisted, spines redirected and Kevin was doing flips on the third base line...backflashes or what? I would like to thank Paul F. from LPS (Leisure Play Softball) for coming up here and letting us play six games (could have been 7) at a fair price.
9:00am FILLING OUT THE ROSTER
It's never easy to make a roster sheet when there are so many great hitters; sluggers, drivers, and me. Then there are those who whisper in your ears about who should hit where and why the earth rotates on a 23 degree axis. This makes things even more difficult for the coach (right coaches) but we listen anyways and make that final call and pay for it if it is right or wrong. All in all...we FLEW RIGHT anyway!
STRETCHING OUT!
FLIPPING THE COIN BABY...TAILS NEVER FAILS.
We had to battle another local team for seating purpose in the next round. As the visiting squad; we scored 10 in the 1st inning, 3 in the second, 4 in the third and held the other guys to 6 runs! Mercy, Mercy, Me.

Would the layover hurt us...should we trust Kevin at the grill?
GRUBBING & FELLOWSHIP
FLY RIGHT FAST FOOD
IT WAS HOT...FIND A STRIP OF SHADE!
PLAYBALL...OR TAKE A NAP?
FLY RIGHT entered the second game at 1:15pm and probably could have laid off the chicken sandwhiches Darren bought and should have eaten more snicker bars and drunk energy drinks!

So, a total of 9 hits will equal a loss of 16-6 in 7. To much relaxing, not enough cracking!
Well we need to keep winning or we go home in time for supper. Little did we know that we would play until the sun came down.
FLY RIGHT CHANGES THE FLIGHT PATTERN
Heading back into the dugout FLY RIGHT regroups and shakes the cold off their wings and spreads them baby!
BATTLING A FAMILIAR FRIEND.
FLY RIGHT had to face a solid hitting crew in "Give it a Ride." This game went back and forth for seven nail-biting innings, yet somehow we took it by one point, on a Ted Ramirez sacrifice fly to score a runner from third.

HOME TEAM wins 18-17 with a total of 25 hits!
Big difference from the last game.
We (I) always support positive sportmanship. Not sure what jaw-jacking went on between us and you...it's hard enough to bring up our own kids and teach them in the way that is right, nevertheless trying to tell grown adults to keep it cool maybe rougher...it is never okay to fight unless you have to defend yourself or this country! Walking towards the dugout was ridiculous! My apologies...because no one else will.
FLY RIGHT MUST KEEP FLYING!
With determination and the back up of some energetic youth, FLY RIGHT wins four in a row to enter the Championship game! Pretty good showing after watching Kevin throw up in game 2. Have another hot dog dude!
FLY RIGHT SOARS TO THE BIG SHOW
Game 4 was also a down to the wire game, where it was whoever made the most mistakes would be packing it up. It was 9-4 in the first, our lead. 11-4-us by the second, 11-6 us, they are creeping, 12-8 us by four innings, 12-13 they are on top! 15-13 in the sixth we go ahead by two, and by the seventh and final score of 16-14 we win!

DON'T LAND YET BOYS!
GAME 5 FLY RIGHT vs Fearless
This game was not a walk in the park, guys are tired, doing back to back to backs, and Kevin is in the fetal position crying.

Not sure how we pulled this one off. We had 16 total hits, but that's all we needed to go to the Ship!
THE CREW WAS TIRED AND WILLING TO GIVE IT THEIR ALL...THE OTHER TEAM HOWEVER, HAD JUST A LITTLE MORE STEAM GOING INTO THE FINAL STRETCH.
GAME 6 FLY RIGHT vs 760HD...AGAIN!
The final game let us know that we are an elite squad, good enough to get here means good enought to be in the top five teams of all the high desert! Of course that is my opinion...give yours on my bulletin board.
They got us again. This time is was 26-14. we fought off getting mercied in three innings but could not match their hitting...at least not today. Hat's off to you boys 760HD!
WILLIE 3/4...3singles...somedays still awake!

FLY RIGHT HAS BEEN THROUGH OODLES & OODLES OF ATHLETES, AS HAVE YOU ALL WHO ARE READING THIS BIT. SO YOU KNOW IT AIN'T EASY TO KEEP THE PEACE AND RYTHM FLOWING ALL NICE AND SWEET. JUST ENJOYS YOURSELVES!
