TRYOUTS!
Howell Pompon will be holding tryouts for the fall and winter season! The tryout consists of 2 days. Both days are mandatory to complete the tryout process.
Thursday, August 27th 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Freshman Campus Gym
Friday, August 28th 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Freshman Campus Gym
You may not tryout if you are planning to participate in any other fall or winter sport/activity.
We plan to have an information table set up at the August Orientations. Students interested in trying out (and their parents) should read the team handbook found in the menu bar at the left. Policies, requirements, schedules etc. are found in the handbook. Please read both the Team Handbook AND the JV addendum so that you are fully aware of both Varsity and JV schedules.
If you plan to tryout you should know that you are NOT trying out to perform at football games. You WILL be trying out for the basketball and competitive season. Practices and competition routine instruction will begin the Monday following tryouts. The fall/winter season includes High Kick Competition in November, Regionals Competition in January, the State Championships in February and basketball season. The season ends with the last basketball performance in late February or early March.

Howell Varsity Pompon is proud to be among the TOP TEN Mid American style pompon teams in the state of Michigan! We were honored to receive 8th place - Class A division 1 at the 2009 State Championships!
