Kanto Celts are the most highly rated underachieving soccer Team in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The Celts are not just a football team but a social institution. Careful co-ordination behind the scenes in kantoceltdom allows the stars juggle football and fame in the face of various adversities like work, women, alcohol and Eugene's ad-hoc nights out. With the bosman ruling strictly in force here in Japan the Celts have enlisted the services of overseas talents from as far away as Russia, Canada, US, Ireland and the other country next to it. Within the ranks we boast a Harvard Lawyer, Westlife reject, zoolander himself and Roy Keanes' friend (on first name basis). As the most recognised team in Japan and possibly Asia-Pacific, Celts spend much of their time on tour to places like Phuket, Nagano and Izumo representing Ireland and anything green. Kanto Celts are always on the lookout for new talent to nurture and strengthen the defence, midfield and strikers. All Nationalities Welcome!!

History of the Celts
The origins of the kantocelts is unclear, what is know is that sometime after the great famine in 1847 the first Celt landed on the shores of Japan in search of fame and food. This mighty warrior carried a hurl under one arm and a liathroid peil under the other. The great one overcame many obstacles in the early days including 11 sayonara parties and being turfed out of Paddy Foleys pubteam for smoking at the bar after a champion of a day on the pitch - "Ya wont get away with that here" cited the landlord. Mr. Murray then turned to his fellow comrades at home and in the days ahead set about building a team to take over at the top of the TML and IFFL leagues. This notorious event otherwise known as the invasion marked the birth of Kanto Celts FC.
