Game Day Setup.
At each home game volunteers are needed for setup; putting together the concessions stand and cooking.  For the field, people are needed to line the field and put up markers/pads this is done 1 hour before game start.

Concession Helpers: Work in the concession stand serving food or working the cash register. We recommend you work the game just before your child plays so you can watch his/her game.

Team Parents: Serve as liaison between the board, your coaches and parents. Purchase and serve oranges and Gatorade at halftime for your team (You will be reimbursed by turning in receipts). Serve as the point person for fund-raisers for your child’s team. This job fulfills your work bond requirement, and no other hours are expected.

Chain Gang:  Three people are needed during each team home game to hold the chains on the sideline.

Team Commissioner – Weigh in & Play Tracker:  Help the coaches keep track of how many plays each football player has been in the game. This job needs to be filled for both home and away games. Someone is needed for both sidelines.  Weigh-in players

Announcer:  An announcer is needed for home games after 11 a.m.  Football and Cheer names to be announced, as well as game highlights.

Gates:  Collect money at the front or rear gate during home games. Again, it is suggested you work the game before your child plays (with the exception of flag), so you can see your child’s game.

Game Day Breakdown:  Help close up the concession stand, pack up paraphernalia and break down gate tables and break down the field.  Help is needed with gathering trash and taking it off of the field This is a good job for parents of Cougars, who are the last to play and cheer.

Can Drive:  Parents needed supervise children at different locations in Maplewood and South Orange Village on a Saturday morning for our annual can drive fund raiser.
