We have been blessed to have had our sons Anthony and Michael Carbone
under the tutelage of Ian Jordan's baseball program since the age of 10.
Ian's program gives aspiring baseball players the opportunity to develop
their baseball skills as well as providing parents the option to place
their children in an academic school environment of choice. Ian's
program has helped develop our two boys into strong, mature young men with
a strong academic background and as a bonus has also opened up many
opportunities for them to pursue their baseball and school career south of
the border. We have also had the opportunity to make many great
friends during the many traveling weekends over the years in which we
participated. A big thank you to Ian for the passion and dedication
he continues to display on the baseball diamond and we are convinced that
he is the greatest baseball mind in the province of Quebec with a strong
desire to obtain the best from the players he develops. |
Testimonials/Témoignages
Beginning today, there will be a new section on our website entitled Testimonials. This section will feature comments written by former players and parents as well as anyone who has been involved with Ian Jordan and/or the Montreal Titans' organization. Each testimonial will first be published at the top of the Welcome Page, readily available to all of our visitors. When a new testimonial is published, the older one will then be moved to the Testimonials section of the site.

À partir d'aujourd'hui, il y aura une nouvelle section sur le site entitulée Témoignages. Dans cette section, on touvera des commentaires écrits par nos anciens joueurs et leurs parents, ainsi que d'autres personnes qui ont déjà travaillé avec Ian Jordan et/ou les Titans de Montréal. Chaque témoignage sera d'abord publié sur la page d'accueil où tous les visiteurs peuvent le lire. Quand un nouvel témoignage est publié, celui qui était publié auparavant sera transféré à la section Témoignages.

A FEW GOOD MEN
This message is aimed at new players who are not presently training with Ian Jordan.
The Montreal Titans' organization is still looking for a few good men at each of the 3 levels: 15U, 16U and 19U. If you are interested in developing your game and facing good competition under the supervision of excellent coaches, please go to Online forms and fill out the Summer 2009 form. You'll be glad you did. Players who are already training with Ian or his coaches do not need to fill out the form.

Les Titans de Montréal cherche encore quelques joueurs de qualité pour chacun des 3 niveaux: 15 ans et moins, 16 ans et moins et 19 ans et moins. Si tu veux perfectionner les techniques de baseball dans une ambiance agréable, si tu veux participer aux matchs compétitifs sous la supervision d'excellents instructeurs, remplis le formulaire Été 2009 sous la rubrique Online forms. Tu ne le regretteras pas. Les joueurs qui viennent au camp d'entraînement avec Ian ou ses entraîneurs n'ont pas besoin de remplir le formulaire.
Where to look???/Où chercher???
When you are looking for information about practices, games, tournaments or special events, always look in the Calendar section first. This section is kept up to date and contains all of the pertinent information concerning times and venues. Plus, you get an overview of the activities of each of our teams for the month in question. The Schedules section contains only a list of the games to be played by each team. When each game is completed, the result will be posted in the Game results section.
Pour trouver des renseignements au sujet des pratiques, des parties, des tournois et des évènements spéciaux, il faut toujours consulter la rubrique Calendar. Cette section est mise à jour régulièrement et contient toute information concernant à la fois l'horaire et l'endroit où l'évènement aura lieu. De plus, vous y verrez les activités de chacune de nos équipes pendant le mois affiché. La section Schedules est réservée uniquement pour afficher la liste des parties à jouer. Quand chaque partie est complétée, vous trouverez le résultat sous la rubrique Game results.
How do I find information concerning each team?
The Montreal Titans' organization has decided that this site will be the home for all three of the summer teams as well as the fall ball teams. The calendars for the Sports-Étude Baseball programs for John Rennie High School and Lester B. Pearson High School are also included on the site. Thus, all information pertaining to these teams and the high school programs can be found here. In each section (Calendars, Schedules, Tournaments, Players, etc.), be sure to scroll down to the appropriate team or high school before looking for any particular information.
L'organisation des Titans de Montréal a décidé qu'il 'y aura un seul site pour les trois équipes de l'été ainsi que pour les équipes d'automne. Les calendriers pour les programmes Sports-Étude Concentration Baseball de l"école secondaire John Rennie et de l'école secondaire Lester B. Pearson sont aussi inclus sur ce site. Donc, toute information concernant ces équipes et ces écoles se trouvera ici. Dans chaque section (Calendrier, Cédules, Tournois, Joueurs) n'oublie pas de sélectionner la bonne équipe ou école avant de chercher l'information désirée.
Weekend travel to the United States
As you may already know, border crossings are often backed up for very long periods of time during the summer months, especially on Saturday mornings. You may want to add an extra hour onto your expected travel time to take these delays into account. If you want to check the situation at the border, check the border wait times before you leave.
Vous savez sans doute que l'attente pendant l'été est parfois très longue
pour traverser la frontière, surtout le samedi matin. Par conséquent, il est conseillé d'ajouter au moins une heure au temps prévu pour le voyage. Si vous voulez vérifier ce qui se passe à la frontière, regardez les temps d'attente aux postes-frontières avant de partir.
