***STORM DROP 2ND GAME AFTER LEADING AT HALF***
The Storm rode into Howard to face the 1-0 Green Bay Gladiators at Bay View Middle School on Saturday, May 16th. The Gladiators gave many gifts to the Storm by the means of turning the ball over. The Storm offense was only able to turn 2 of the turnovers into points. With a 14-10 lead at the half the Storm appeared to be on their way to their first victory...ever. Though in the second half the offense sputtered and defensively 2 more scores were allowed for a final score of 24-14 and a Gladiators victory.
The Storm's next game is at 4 p.m. at Papermaker Stadium in Kimberly, WI on Saturday, May 30th. The field is located at JR Gerrits Middle School at 454 S. John St. in Kimberly. The Storm will face the 0-2 Minnesota Phoenix. Come cheer for the Storm and enjoy a Saturday afternoon of football at an affordable price.

***STORM LOSE OPENER TO FORCE***
The Storm lost their inaugural NEFL game against the 2-time WSFL Champions, the Fox Valley Force. On Saturday, May 9th at Papermaker Stadium in Kimberly, the Storm managed to put up only 6 points to the Force's 21.
The Storm defense looked strong all game long and now that the offense had some game-time opportunities to learn against a very tough opponent, the Storm should be a formidable foe for their opponents this season.
The nest game is at Bay View Middle School in Howard against the Green Bay Gladiators at 4 p.m.
Come cheer on your Storm and watch what will become a great NEFL Eastern Conference rivalry with the Gladiators. The Gladiators won their home opener last week 31 – 16 against the UP Artic Blast.

NOW PAY YOUR PLAYER FEES ONLINE!
If you are a new player you need to select the new player fee option at a cost of $235.00 after clicking the "Buy Now" button. If you are a returning player who paid their team fee last year you would select the other option at a cost of $160.00 after clicking the "Buy Now" button. If you are at all unsure of which option you need to choose, please contact Josh as soon as possible. If you select the wrong option, you will need to correct this mistake before taking the field for the Storm! It is essential that we take care of team fees as soon as possible so we can get our uniform order in to take advantage of some really great deals our supplier is offering us!!

If you or someone you know would be interested in sponsoring the Storm during the 2009 season, please e-mail Angela at Slingers1019@att.net for sponsorship packages and more information. Any player obtaining a sponsor for this season will have 20% of that sponsor fee go towards their team fee.
You will not be able to receive any more compenstation beyond the player fee amount.
