Practice Schedule and Start Date
Pratices begin on Monday, August 3rd
Practices are held Monday thru Thursday from 5:30-7:30.
The week of September 7th practices switch to Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights from 5:30-7:30.
WEIGH-IN AND CELEBRITY GAME
This year the weigh-in and Celebrity game will be held on Saturday, September 12th.
PICTURE DAY
Picture Day will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2009
Rain Date is Sunday, October 11, 2009.

PARKING AT FOOTBALL FIELD
Please be aware that anyone who parks in the parking lot behind Tedeschi's and blocks the emergency entrance to the football field will be towed.
This is the entrance for an ambulance to enter the field. Of course we hope not to have to use this entrance, but it is for the safety of ALL the children.
This year the parking rules will be strictly enforced.

Announcing new Email lists

We have created a new mailing list: "Newton Pop Warner Urgent Alerts". This mailing list is for Urgent and Time-Sensitive messages ONLY (typically weather related, and game cancellation/change bulletins).
This list is especially (but not exclusively) designed for people with mobile devices such as Text-Messaging enabled mobile phones and Blackberry/treo/PocketPC handhelds, so that the messages we’ll send are very short and concise (up to 120 characters long).
Our two mailing lists therefore are:
Newton Pop Warner General Announcements - this is the list we used to have thus far. It is used for General Announcements sent from time to time. We would also send Urgent Alerts to this list using longer, more detailed format.
Newton Pop Warner Urgent Alerts - this list is for Urgent Bulletins ONLY. You are invited to take advantage of this feature and register now using the link below the left menu bar of this screen.
Parents are encouraged to subscribe to both mailing lists in the following manner:
Use your regular Email address for the Newton Pop Warner General Announcements list. If you registered for a mailing list with us before then you DON’T need to register for this list again
Use your Text-Messaging Email address/handheld Email address for the Newton Pop Warner Urgent Alerts list.
