We are BACK for the 2009 Spring NJ Fire Hawks Baseball Season
Wanted - High School Baseball Players for Spring 2009 Team
The 2008 Spring Sunday League season will soon be here. I will be reaching out to all returning High School Players shortly. Many players have graduated this past season so we are looking to fill those positions.
The New Jersey Fire Hawks Baseball Team of Pequannock NJ is looking for some serious High School Level (16-18u)baseball players that are eager to commit their time playing baseball on a competitive Spring “Sunday” travel team. The season should commence in late March or early April and conclude around the first week in June.
The Fire Hawks are looking to bring aboard additional players to round off the spring roster. Preferably positions C,OF,M-IF, 3B and P players. Pitchers are of special interest. Please inquire, Team Manager: Rich Maloney for details, email: FIREHAWKS@OPTONLINE.NET
The Fire Hawks spring registration fee is: $250 ($150.00 Reg Fee Plus $100 Uniform charge)

- Baseball Years -
There are times I stare into the deep blue sky on a mid-fall day
and think of the days gone past.
The rush you get when you hear fans cheering.
The chill in the air as you hit the baseball.
Rounding the bases, with only the thought of reaching the next.
Safe, the umpire yells, and the moment passes.
Now in my mid-years I walk the baseball diamond
several days a week and re-live those games, as day dreams.
They all seem so wonderful, even the ones that did not go our way.
The joy of youth is now played out, through coaches eyes.
