CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OAHA ON ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SEASON
THE OAHA IS PROUD OF ALL OF OUR YOUNG PLAYERS AND THE EFFORTS THEY PUT FORTH DURING THE SEASON AND PLAYOFFS
Time certainly flies by. It seems like only yesterday that I was elected President of the OAHA and now, after 4 years in the position, I stepped down to pursue other endeavors. I believe that with the support and enourmous efforts of the Board, that I had the pleasure of working with, the OAHA is in better shape now than we were then.
I also have the utmost confidence in the new Board (see link on left)that they will continue to move the OAHA forward during the difficult times ahead. Along with some new faces there is also a lot of experience on the OAHA Board and we are in good hands.
Each of us should ask ourselves what is the one thing I can do to help the Association succeed and continue - the answer is simple. Get involved,help when and where needed, be part of the solution. In these rough economic times voluteering is more important that ever. If the OAHA is to survive and florish, and keep our registration fees down, it needs everyone involved in fundraisers, repairs, maintenance, working together for the benefit of all.
Although months away your board is already working on preparations for the 2009-10 hockey season - be proactive and offer help and assistance when it's needed.
