2009-10 BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
August 24, 2009
Online registration for the 2009-10 CYO Basketball Season will be begin Monday August 24th. Join us as the Gladiators start our 5th Basketball season. Each year has been more successful than the previous.
There will be in-person registration after all the Masses on Sunday September 13th and September 20th. There will be coach's available to answer any questions you might have about the Basketball program.
If you are thinking about signing please do so early. Space will be limited and registration comes to an end on October 17th.
HIGH SCHOOL BOYS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP!

Congratulations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Gladiators 9th and 10th grade CYO Boys Basketball team for winning the Region 20 CYO Championship. The Gladiators shook off a slow start, scoring only 17 first half points and came back with 31 points in the second half in their come from behind, 48 - 40 victory over the previously undefeated Mary, Mother Redeemer Vikings in Montgomeryville. Our Gladiators, true to their name, defended their way to the championship by allowing only 3 points in the fourth quarter, while themselves scoring 15 points and broke a 40 - 40 tie by hitting eight consecutive free throws while shutting down their opponents.
The high school boys will now advance to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia CYO Basketball tournament. This will be the first Our Lady of Guadalupe team to be invited to the Archdiocese basketball tournament. They will play their first round game against the Region 1 winner, either St Jerome's or Resurrection on Sunday, March 1st and, if they advance, the final four round will be played on Saturday, March 7th and the final round on Sunday, March 8th. Times and location of these games will be published on our website at www.olgsports.org when they are made available.
PERFECT ENDING TO A PERFECT SEASON !!
Congratulations to the OLG 4th grade girls as they defeated St Maria Goretti 24-10 to complete a perfect 13-0 season!!

4TH GRADE GIRLS ARE OLMC CHAMPS!

CONGRATULATIONS to the 4th grade girls who defeated the Our Lady of Mt Carmel 4th grade girls to win the OLMC Christmas Tournament. The girls also defeated St Andrews in the semi-final game.
The girls have had an outstanding year so far posting an 7-0 record.

VARSITY GIRLS WIN THANKSGIVING TOURNEY

The Varsity girls are Champions of the Ambler CYO Thanksgiving Tournament after defeating Visitation 14-10 in the Championship game.
