Team History
The spirit of the Olympians has been deeply rooted within the community of London for nearly half a century. It was only in 2002 that the name “Olympians” was resurrected within the soccer community in the London Industrial Soccer League which would then become the London Ontario Soccer League. With the rebirth of the name came a vision of tradition that management of the club hoped to restore in what is now the preeminence of the modern day Olympians.
The team faced many challenges as it embarked on its new journey within the London soccer community. With a new management structure in place came new philosophies in order to form a team that not only was competitive on the field but also a tight knit family off the field. Although the team makes minor changes in player personnel form year to year, it still manages to keep the chemistry consistent in order to maintain the balance that is needed for success.
All our successes are made possible by our generous sponsors, fans, and countless volunteers. The atmosphere surrounding the team is one of sportsmanship, competitiveness, family, and friendships. These are the qualities that embody this team and which lend to its constant support at every game and every event.
