Due to the large number of Jr. Pee-Wee registrations and interests, we are now going to open a THIRD Jr. Pee-Wee team. If you are ages 10 (over 90 lbs), 11 (120 lbs or less), and 12 (105 lbs or less) You are still welcome to register online or visit us at Big 5 La Quinta on Sunday, June 28th from 11-3. We are already well into filling this third team so please do not delay!

Saturday, July 18 is equipment handouts and a mandatory parent meeting. Don't forget you need a security deposit check for $100 to have equipment issued. Your check will not be cashed unless you fail to return your equipment at the end of the season. The time line for equipment handouts and parent meeting is as follows: 8:00 am - Jr. Micro, 8:45 am - Midget, 9:30 am - Micro, 11:00 am - Jr. Pee-Wee, 12:30 pm - Pee-Wee. Do not come during a time that does not belong to you, you will not be served.

Saturday, July 25 is a free sports physical provided by Dr. Ruben at Desert Cardiology in Rancho Mirage. You may have a physical done by your own physician but you must use the physical form found in the "handouts" section of this website. A physical is required BEFORE the first day of practice. No player is allowed on the field without one, no exceptions.

Monday, July 27 is the first day of practice. Practice is at the Palm Desert Civic Center park from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Plan to arrive early so that you can find your team and check in with your Team AD. The first week of practice is "hell week". Be prepared for hard conditioning. Parents, please make sure your child has plenty of water and plan to remain at the practice field. A small snack at least an hour before practice is suggested with a larger meal saved for after practice. Conditioning with a full stomach can make your child feel ill. All players should wear a white t-shirt with your last name marked on the back.
