Orioles Win TOC!!!
The Orioles exacted some revenge on Wednesday night in capturing the Tournament of Champions Championship!
Earlier this season, in interleague play, the Summerlin North Brewers beat the Orioles. On Wednesday night, when it mattered most, it was the Peccole Orioles that came out on top! Final score, 5-3.
The Orioles got just enough offense, pitching and a clutch double play in the 6th to hold off the very tough Brewers at Trails Park in Summerlin.
Brandon Wulff got the win and Josh Terry pitched the 6th to earn the save. (Terry also closed out the Peccole Tourney Championship game.)
The Orioles after finishing the regular season in 5th place, got hot at the right time as they went 8-1 in the post-season to capture both the Peccole Tournament Championship and the TOC title!
This is only the 2nd time in the history of Peccole Little League that we have won this tournament. Way to Go Boys!
Congratulations to the entire team, Manager Phil Robbins and Coach Frank Taft.
