George's/The Ivy Inn - Dynasty in the works???
Is a dynasty in the works? George's Roasters/Ivy Inn is currently 5-0 in the Princeton Recreation Dept. Men's Summer Basketball League. The squad won the league title in both 2008 and 2005. If the 'Roasters' can secure the title this year, it makes three in 5 years.

Since 2002, George's/Ivy is 59-9 in regular season play.

Tennis Information
Community Park Tennis Complex
The tennis complex consists of 6 lighted and 9 unlit courts. Individuals and families may purchase a seasonal tennis membership, which entitles members to court reservation rights. For Princeton residents who choose not to purchase a membership, there is a per usage fee structure. Fees are in effect from the third week of April through the last Saturday in October. Season memberships are also available to nonresidents at double the resident rate.

Season ticket holders may phone 921-9645 for reservations and are required to give their season ticket number.

Season ticket holders may only reserve one 1-½ hour block per day.

Non-season ticket holding Princeton residents may use the court on a pay as you play basis. Please see the attendant for rates and details.

Free time is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on the courts, Monday through Friday, Noon - 4:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Noon - 3:00 p.m., and everyday before 9:00 am.

Discount Memberships
If you have a CP pool membership or participate in a PTP program at CP South, you are eligible to receive a discount on your CP tennis membership. Proof of pool membership or Spring/Summer 2009 PTP class registration is required and must be presented with CP membership application.

If you already have received your 2009 CP tennis facility membership you are eligible for a discount when registering for a Spring or Summer 2009 PTP program with proof of CP membership. Save $5 - $10/hour on private lessons offered by the PTP if you have a current CP membership.

SESSION 1: JUNE 22 - JULY 17 (4 WEEKS) NO CAMP ON JULY 3
SESSION 2: JULY 21 - AUGUST 14 (4 WEEKS) NO CAMP ON JULY 20

You can register for either session or you can register for both!

Registration forms for Day Camp will be available to download from the handouts section of this website beginning February 9, 2009. You can also pick up the registration forms form the Princeton Recreation Dept. office at 380 Witherspoon Street as of 2/9.

Early-Bird price discounts are now available until April 22.









CP Pool Permit Applications Now Available
Permit applications are now available for the Community Park Pool. Please visit the HANDOUTS section to download the form. This application is for Princeton residents only.

Nonresidents should contact the Princeton Recreation Dept. at 609-921-9480 for information about becoming a CP Pool member.

SPECIAL TEEN DANCES
The Recreation Department along with Princeton Special Sports will be hosting dances for Teens with Special Needs. Dances are generally held the second Friday each month beginning in September.
