The U14 Boys Premier team secured 1st Place this weekend in BBSL with another undefeated season going 8-0-0 with the divisions top ranked offense and top rated defense. Ajax Premier will be competing in the East Coast Cup in June with top ranked teams from NY, PA & MD.

The U11 Boys Classic team also did well securing 2nd Place in their bracket with a 5-1-2 record. Ajax Classic had one of the top rated defense with only 1.7 goals allowed per game. Nice Work Ajax!

Help Wanted!!

Uniform Changes Coming in Fall 2009 to Include New PVYA Logo

This past year PVYA Soccer started looking into new uniforms as well as a new logo to represent our growing soccer program. Just recently PVYA approved the new logo for our Fall 2009 uniforms which will be rolled out in August of next year. With our new uniforms we expect to pass a 20-30% savings to parents on a full uniform set which can also be ordered by individual pieces.

No Recruiting Policy
Coaches, parents and players are reminded of the MSYSA, FCYSL and PVYA policy on the recruiting of players. Please ensure we follow the guidelines below. Concerns should continue to be forwarded to the Director of Operations who will forward to MSYSA and FCYSL.

5.5.2 No coach, team official, player nor parent of players for FCYSA member Programs, regardless of any other affiliation, shall initiate any form of contact with a prospective player who is registered with any other FCYSA member program with the intent of recruiting that player to a new team or organization.

PVYA Positive Parenting Initiative
In support of this growing commitment to excellence in youth sports, PVYA Parents are required to read through the Responsible Sports Parent Guide and then take the Responsible Sports Parent quiz. Once completed, return the printable certificate to your Head Coach. The first three teams to reach 100% compliance on this initiative will receive a $50 certificate to Sports Authority to be used for additional equipment for the team.
Thank you for being a Responsible Sports Parent!

Sportsmanship Classes

Thank you to all our coaches that attended the Sportsmanship Class.  PVYA is a great organization because of our wonderful coaches that donate their time to our teams.

Have a great season!
