The Rego Park 30 & Over Summer Classic! One of the city's most successful summer leagues, the Rego Park 30 & Over had another summer of exciting basketball in 2008. In addition, the league was featured in the New York Daily News and the Queens Times/Ledger, recognized in Bounce Magazine online and was captured in video highlights by Game Over. Not to mention the expansion of the league's own web site. We are working on plans for 2009!
Games are played at the World's Fair Playground, in the shadow of Flushing Meadow - Corona Park.
To be eligible to play in this league, you must be at least 30 years of age. And there is a 6'4" maximum height restriction.

2009 TIP-OFF ON JULY 11!
The 2009 Classic tips off on July 11 with a rematch of the 2008 final. Defending champ Legends/TNP begins defense of its title against last season's surprise runner-up team, MOB. This season expects to be just as exciting as previous years as a number of teams have revamped their rosters. We are looking forward to seeing new faces on old teams and old faces on new teams. Also, we welcome two new teams to the 2009 Classic, Almighty Force and Mr. 2 U Ballers. First game will tip off at 10:00am.
