Mission Statement:
To provide youth with an opportunity to learn about the sport of track and field in a safe and encouraging environment.
Goals:
1. Have fun!
2. Introduce young athletes to a variety of events in track and field.
3. Teach the fundamentals of movement and incoporate strength and conditioning exercises.
4. Offer young athletes the opportunity to compete in track and field through summer competitions.
Practice Sessions:
(Monday and Wednesdays)
May 18th- July 8th (8 Weeks)
4:00-5:30 PM
Youth Girls and Boys Ages 6-18
Cost: $125.00
Includes USA Track and Field Membership and Competition Singlet
The River Falls Track and Field Club is a chance for young athletes ages 6-16 to engage in the sport of track and field in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. The River Falls Track and Field Club was started by Martha Brennan, Head Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Coach at UW-River Falls. Martha has coached many successful athletes in her tenure at UW-River Falls, many competing in the NCAA National Track & Field Meet, and some receiving such honors as Women’s Field Athlete of the Year. The River Falls Track & Field Club will call the Ramer Track its home. To learn more about the club and to sign up click on Handouts on the left side of the screen.
