Congratulations to this year's Pitch, Hit and Run Participants and Winners
Thanks to all the 25+ volunteers who helped us make our first Pitch, Hit and Run Competition such a big success. With nearly 50 participants across all age groups, competition was strong, but the kids performed extremely well for their very first effort in events such as these. We are excited about the base that this year's inauguaral event has built and look forward to next year when we fully expect to double participation!
The Winners of each event, by age group, have been invited to attend the Pitch, Hit and Run Sectional Competition on June 7th at 9:30am in Easton, CT. Winners in Easton will move on with the ulitmate goal being to compete at MLB's All Star Game.
Thank you all for particpating. Anyone interested in assisting in the plans for next year, please contact Roger Knight. It would be helpful to have three volunteers take manage the event as early as possible. The group will be part of the league's Events and Promotions Team.
