WELCOME TO SEVERN ATHLETIC CLUB BASKETBALL
Thank you for your interest in SAC basketball. SAC recognizes its role in helping to develop boys and girls through athletic participation. SAC is seeking adult volunteers to assist with the program as coaches, team parents, and various other positions.
REGISTRATION--

SAC Basketball will be conducting skills assessments the week of November 10th thru November 14th. The schedule is below:
Monday Nov 10th,Thursday Nov 13th ages 7-8 Ridgeway Elementary 6 to 8:00pm
Thursday Nov 14th ages 11-12 Harmons Elementary 6:30 to 8:00pm
Friday Nov 14th ages 9-10 Harmons Elementary 6:30 to 8:00pm
SAC IN-HOUSE/ INTRAMURAL PROGRAM
Designed for boys and girls ages 5-14. Intramural is recreational basketball, where the focus is on learning. There is little travel. Children practice 1 or 2 times per week and typically play on weekends. County officials referee the games. Children will receive a SAC team t-shirt and at the end of the season will receive a trophy. The rules for intramural basketball are posted on leaguelineup.com/sac/basketball.
Intramural practices begin the 2nd week of November and the games begin the 2nd or 3rd week of December. Check the updates on the SAC hotline (410-551-7843) or the website (Leaguelineup.com/sac) for updates.
SAC COUNTY BASKETBALL PROGRAM
Designed for boys and girls ages 8-14. County basketball is more competitive and children must tryout for these teams. Parents can expect a more intense regimen and further travel distances to game sites. Practice is at least 2 times per week. County officials referee the games. Children will receive a SAC basketball uniform and if their team wins, they will receive a trophy. The rules for county basketball are posted on leaguelineup.com/sac/basketball.

SAC TRAVEL BASKETBALL PROGRAM (INCL. LOCAL LEAGUES, AAU, USSSA, YBOA)
SAC has a rapidly growing travel basketball program. It is designed for boys and girls ages 7-15. SAC travel basketball is highly competitive and children must tryout for these teams. The teams practice 3-4 times per week. Travel basketball frequent travel to different basketball sites. Parents are required to fundraise.
SAC also offers advance basketball training for groups and inviduals.

FUNDRAISING
Severn Athletic Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the delivery of youth sports to young athletes, coaches and parents. SAC basketball actively fundraises and accepts donations to enhance the children¡¦s¡¦ experience.
