TRYOUTS: Massapequa BU14 Premier Team 2009/2010 will be announced by this weekend, 6/5.

Due to the Massapequa Scorpions' outstanding past accomplishments, they have been accepted into the 2009 Northeast Sub Regional Premier League in the Boys U13 Red Division.
The Squad has also been accepted to participate in the Jefferson Cup in Richmond, Virginia, March, 2009. In addition to the aforementioned events, the Massapequa Scorpions will again travel to Richmond, Virginia, Labor Day Weekend to participate in the 2009 Nike Junior Friendlies. This event is hosted by the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club and administered by Nike and the United States Soccer Federation.

Fall-08, The Massapequa Scorpions played 2008 Fall: MAPS League, (3-3-1)
Attended 3 top-Fall Tournaments:
- YMS Columbus Cup, Platinum Division, lost Championship game in PKs
- Nike Junior Friendlies Tournament, Richmond, VA, Champions
- MAPS Cup, Fort Dix, NJ (1-1-2)

The team trains 2x a week in season, and participate in a comprehensive futsal skill training program during the winter. The team will play in the LI Futsal League and attend the Mid Atlantic Futsal Regionals winter 2008/2009. The squad has access to 2 state of the art field turf lighted soccer fields for training and games during the 2008/2009 seasons. It is recommended and encouraged that ALL players participate in school sports, as well as the Long Island and State ODP Programs.
