Andrew Espinoza, Vincent Alberico, Chris Smith, Aaron Torres, and Ricky Ramirez all had multiple hits for San Dimas. Chris Smith hit a grand slam to center field. Great job SDLL!

Noah Williams, Montegomery Montenegro, and Austin Isenhart all had 2 hits and Matt Corona pitched 4 solid innings. The entire team played excellent defense in the win. Great job SD!

Justin Flood pitched 4 solid innings and SD tied the game in the 4th inning on Joseph Espinoza's 2 run triple, but Claremont scored 2 runs in the 5th putting them ahead for good. Connor Owens went 2 for 2 with a walk for San Dimas.

San Dimas (12) vs. Pomona American (3)
Joseph Espinoza pitched 5 complete innings and was backed by great defense. Johnny Roome had an outstanding line drive catch and closed out the game on the mound. Connor Owens belted a 3 run double and Dana Crocker added 3 base hits to SD's offensive effort.

SDLL BASEBALL CAMP IS OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PLAYERS AGES 5-14 YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A SAN DIMAS LITTLE LEAGUE PLAYER TO REGISTER FOR CAMP

Each camp participant will learn skills in all aspects of baseball including physical and mental conditioning. The camp will feature Dr. Lenny Wiersma, Associate Professor of youth sports, research methods, and Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton as a guest speaker.
Online Registration Deadline is July 24th.

If you wish to register online but pay in person, you may do so and pay your registration fees on the first day of camp with cash or a check. Checks can be made out to "SDLL."
Players may also register in person on the first day of each camp!

La Verne Winter Ball Looking for Players

The 2009 Little League “Winter” baseball season is almost here. This is a great opportunity for children ages 6-11 (as of April 30th, 2009) to learn teamwork and sportsmanship, as well as develop their baseball skills. Teams will be drafted in mid to late-August and the season is tentatively scheduled to start September 13, 2009 and run through November 22, 2009. All games will be played on Sundays.
All players must mail in their registration.
THE WINTERBALL SEASON IS OPEN TO PLAYERS FROM ALL CITIES YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN LA VERNE TO PLAY
There will be a registration fee of $75 that should be mailed in with the registration form. The fee includes players’ jersey and cap. All registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first -serve basis. Once a division is full, late sign-ups will be put on a waiting list. Important Announcement about Little League Bats
March 18, 2009 and March 26, 2009
Little League International has just issued an announcement regarding the BPF rating for bats used in Little League. Please be aware that the Little League Rulebook states that beginning January 1, 2009, all non-wood bats used for play in Little League Baseball (majors and below) shall be printed with a bat performance factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less. However, some bats that are being sold DO NOT do not have the required label. There are two separate announcements for 3/18 and 3/26 please take the time to read both.
