Western Frederick Co. Cal Ripken District/State Teams
June 23, 2009
The WFC Cal Ripken District/State teams have begun playing. The U9 team finished 2nd in the District tournament at Araby Church Park in Urbana. The U10 team begins District play Thursday and the U12 team begins Tuesday this week at Heritage Farm Park in Walkersville.
After Disticts, the teams will move on to the State Cal Ripken tournaments.

Thank you to everyone who went above and beyond the call of duty in helping get the fields ready to play on Saturday morning. (starting at 7am) Most other sporting events in the county on Saturday were cancelled. Tri-County had an amazing pool-play tournament day for our kids...with 25 games played on seven different fields.
For the semi-finals and finals, you DO NOT need to use the "Ripken" scorebooks. Please turn-in your regular season "Ripken" scorebooks to the appropriate person as soon as possible...we need them for the district/state tournament teams.

Tri-County will remember the Billotti-Wood Family by posting banners on all of the backstops in the program for the remainder of the season. Also, all coaches and players in Tri-County will wear pins on their hats bearing the names of Chandler and Gavin Wood...who were T-Ballers on a Braddock U6 team. All of Tri-County wishes to express our condolences for your loss to the family and friends.

Welcome to Tri-County Baseball League
Tri-County Baseball League offers various levels of baseball. The league's flexibility allows teams to find a division and schedule to meet their needs. Meetings for Spring 2009 are now under way. Teams and organizations participating in, or interested in participating in, Tri-County Baseball League should plan to have a representative at all league meetings. Please see the bottom of this page for league meeting schedule information.
The Tri-County Baseball League covers the greater Frederick, Washington, Montgomery county, as well as neighboring county, areas of Maryland. Tri-County Baseball is the premier youth baseball program in the region providing baseball programs for young players from age 5 through age 12.
We offer All-Star/Select Team and recreational level competition to meet the needs of individual players and teams. Our goals are to provide a positive instructional environment for our players, to teach them a love of the wonderful game of baseball, and to hopefully prepare them to continue to play baseball at a higher level. As a testament to the quality of our program, Tri-County Baseball is the largest league of its kind in the area.
