Our Victor Boy’s Lacrosse Travel Program has experienced tremendous growth and success over the past travel seasons. For example, in just over two calendar years or three travel team seasons, the Victor Boy’s Travel Program has grown from one under-aged U10 team (75% of the team members were U8 eligible) to five travel teams (2-U8, 2-U10, and 1-U12, with approximately 80 players) who participated throughout New York State in seven different tournaments to finish a very creditable 42-19 (see below).


The U8 Blue Team had a respectable .500 record, however finished strongly with an undefeated performance at the Hamburg Bull Dog Tournament in July. The U8 Gold Team had an above .500 record with an admirable 2-2 record in which they played above their age group in the 1812 Tournament in Sacket’s Harbor, NY.


The U10 Blue Team finished its travel season with a six game winning streak by capturing its own Barefoot Classic Tournament, as well as, going 3-0 in the Hamburg Bulldog Tournament. The team went 9-6 for the entire travel season. The U10 Gold Team had an “eye popping” 16-1 record, winning tournaments in Irondequoit, Sacket’s Harbor (1812 Tournament), and Camillus (John Pepper). The U10 Team has won the John Pepper Tournament over the past two years. The team also handedly beat Ithaca during the Canandaigua Tournament, who during the previous week won the Lax-On-The-Lake Tournament in Oswego, NY.


The U12 Gold team was a model of consistency going 2-1 in three-out-of-four tournaments and having a winning percentage of .636. The U12 Gold Team had notable victories against Webster, Baldwinsville, Niagara-Wheatfield, and All-Star Teams from Michigan and Albany, NY.


Finally, the Victor Blue Devils Youth Lacrosse Program would like to thank and congratulate the players, coaches, and parents for their continued support that has enabled the success of the youth lacrosse program. Without your commitment, the program would not have experienced its growth in size and development, and also in reputation throughout the majority of Central and Western, NY.  Please keep an “eye open” for the announcement of the Junior Turkeyshoot Lacrosse Tournament that will be held in early November at the Total Sports Experience, in Rochester NY.
