Provided Mother Nature cooperates, the 9 & 10 Year Old All Stars
(4-2 in Pool Play) start their Finals play
this evening (Thursday) against hard hitting North Palm Beach (5-1) in a game at the
WBLL fields. This game will be on field 5 and will start at 7pm.
The other Finals bracket game is being played at the same time on Field 4.
This game matches up East Boynton (6-0) v. Boca Raton (3-3). Click

10 & 11 Year Olds - Put a 19-3 thumping on the team from (Royal)
Palm Beach on Tuesday night at the North Palm fields to improve their
Pool Record to 2-1. They
continue their pool play tonight against East Boynton in a game at
the East Boynton fields (I-95 and Woolbright Road).
Little League (aka 12 Year Olds or Majors) - The West Boynton Little
League All Stars took yet another close game as a loss after fighting
back from a 12-4 deficit to lose 12-10. They will put on their
best Spoiler Role tonight against Boca Raton in a game at the WBLL
fields. This game will be on Field 6 and will start at 7pm.
Juniors - West Boynton Juniors All Star team started a game last
night again (Royal) Palm Beach in a game at East Boynton. Only one
inning was played with (Royal) Palm Beach putting up two runs in the top
of the 1st and WBLL batting in the bottom of the 1st when play continues
on Friday night. Thursday night however, WBLL will be taking on
EBLL at the EBLL fields at 7pm.
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!
Volunteers are needed for all All Star games held at WBLL. With
all 9 and 10 Year Old All Star games being held at West Boynton Park,
there will be at least three games each day and night starting Friday,
June 26 and continuing through at least Thursday, July 2nd. A
scorekeeper (see how to do
here) and pitch counter are needed for each game. Further, a
few folks needed to prepare the fields for each game are needed.

Annual Board of
Directors Meeting & WBLL Board of Directors Voting

In August West Boynton Little League will have its annual Board of
Directors meeting at the West Boynton Park Activity Center. At
this meeting a new Board of Directors as well as all committee members
will be elected by the members of WBLL. If you are interested in
participating as a Board member for 2009-10, you should send an email to
to
wbarney@wbll.us and
wbllbod@wbll.us indicating your
desire to be a board member. All emails must be received no later
than Monday, June 15th. All individuals who indicate their
interest in being a Board member no later than Monday, June 15th will
have their name added to the WBLL Board of Directors Ballot that will be
mailed to all WBLL Members at the end of June. All WBLL Board of
Directors Ballots must be turned in prior to the Annual Board Meeting to
