Show Your Spirit: All Football Players are Encouraged to Walk in the 2009 Railroad Days Parade
July 12, 2009 - 12:30 PM
Players and Coaches will be walking in the Railroad Days Parade Sunday July 12. Everyone is to arrive by 12:30 at Highland Ave, just South of Elmwood Ave. Players are to wear prior year's jersey or navy blue tee shirt. Players are to be picked up immediately after the parade at the corner of Arbor and National.
Football Board & Mandatory Head Coaches Meeting
July 15, 2009 - 07:00 PM
The July Board Meeting has been rescheduled to July 15, 7:00PM. In addition to the regular agenda, there will be a mandatory Head Coaches meeting to discuss the upcoming season. Head Coaches from all levels are required to attend. Please see the calendar for additional details.
Free Football Camp for 2009/2010 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Graders
West Chicago Community High School Football Coach Mike Schneider is conducting a FREE football camp, July 15 & 29. The camp will be held at the West Chicago High School Football Field from 4:00pm to 5:30.
Pre-Registration is required at 630-231-9474.
All eligible players are encouraged to participate.

Start Time: 8:00 AM
End Time: 11:00 PM
Location: Reed Keppler Park
Address: Football Equipment Shed, SW Corner by the Park District Maintenance Area
Information: Players can be fitted at any time from 8:00 to 11:00AM. If possible, please come at the preferred times. Preferred Times are:
8:00-8:45 Flag & 70 lb.
8:45-9:30 80 & 90 lb.
9:30-10:15 100 & 115 lb.
10:15-11:00 130 lb.& Varsity

If you need to exchange for a different size or pick up equipment that was unavailable during the first pick up, please come anytime on July 18 after 8:00

2008 100LB Gold SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!!!!!!!
West Chicago's 100LB Gold team won the 2008 BGYFL Superbowl, beating Hinsdale 13-12. The game was exciting, as the Wildcats scored with just a couple of minutes to play and then their defense took over holding off Hinsdale as time expired.
The team's achievements have been recognized within the community by The West Chicago City Council and The West Chicago Park District Board.
Congratulations to all the Players, Parents and Coaches on a great season!
Congratulations 115# Gold On A Great 2008 Season
West Chicago's 115# Gold team fell just short to Hanover Park in the Super Bowl after a dramatic comeback. The Wildcats were down 24 to 0 before the half. The team scored 19 unanswered points and the defense held Hanover Park scoreless in the second half, but they just ran out of time. The boys never gave up and played their hearts out.
