Pocono Race Weekend
Volunteers earn money for the League by volunteering their time for a shift at Pocono Race for the August race.
West End participated in this event for a number of years and was succesful.We would like to start again. A great way to produce income for our FIELD AQUISITION PROJECT, and the future of our League's players

West End Fair
Volunteers earn money for shifts this money is raised to support the Saylorsburg Playground Association a location we utilize for fields and special events. A great way to support the Association.
The dates are the August fair week for 2009

MEETINGS
League Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month.
They are held at the Chestnuthill Park Building on Rte 715
Times are 7:30 OR 8:30 pm depending on the time of year.
From August until April they are 7:30pm
From May until July they are 8:30pm
*Please note there may be changes to the times check this site for up to the minute changes and updates. As well as weather related and other cancellations.

The meetings are open to the Community, your questions or concerns will be addressed.
These meetings are meant to be informative of the Leagues operations, Please act accordingly as children are usually present.
Chartered under Little League,Inc Williamsport, Pa. this organized sport offers all children ages 5-16 living in the following townships: Chestnuthill,Polk,Ross,& Eldred the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of Baseball and Softball while also learning lessons about everyday life. As one of the first youth sports to hit the West End, our league has grown to over 800 participants each Spring.
With registration in January, we usually see players warming up around mid March and continue through until late October. Because we offer a second season usually called Summer Ball and the Fall Ball which starts sometime in June to continue through October with a break in AUGUST
We are a non-profit all VOLUNTEER organization if you would like to become a part of West End Little League please go to the contact page and touch base with any board member, they would be glad to assist you.
