A super All Star season with the kids
definitely putting on a proud display. It's been a bit since
Western has won their opening two games. Good playing
kids...you gave us all a lot to smile about. We are real
proud of you and look forward to more success for years to

These kids fought well, and just had a few innings get away from them. Game 2 was close...and could have gone either way. The kids did their best, had fun ... and we were glad to have them out there.

FIreworks!! We have a booth!!
Western LL is setting up a Fireworks booth at Cheyenne and Jones, in the Von's Shopping Center. The booth will be open from June 28 through July 4th.
The best fireworks always seem to get sold real early...so since you are probably already planning to buy fireworks, come stop by and help support Western Little League baseball. You're sure to see some familiar faces.

Two Western kids, compete in Pitch Hit and Run...and WIN at Dodger Stadium!
Congratulations to TREVOR LIPPARD of the Majors Rockies and NICK FOLKERTS of the Minors Jaxx. These kids competed in the local Pitch Hit and Run competition, and did so well here in Las Vegas, that they made it to the next round of championships at Dodger Stadium.
So, what did our two kids do? They EACH won their age bracket at those championships! Their results will now go against other stadium champioins from around the country and the may possibly compete one last time in St. Louis at the MLB All Star Game!!
We are sure proud of our kids....WAY TO GO TREVOR AND NICK!
MOVING?
Several families are moving...because of the economy and other reasons. Remember that EVEN IF YOU MOVE OUT OF WESTERN'S BOUNDARIES, it is 100% permissible for you to continue to play at Western. Little League likes to promote continuity, and we want to keep each and every kid we can. If you have any questions on this, please ask any of the board members.
