80's Babies Get Their Revenge on Findlay!
The 80's Babies came back to Findlay feeling a little hungry since their last visit to Flag City. They started off the day playing Gametime 420. The game was a hard fought battle as the 80's Babies tried to find their groove. They got on the board first with a touchdown and converted the extra points to take the lead 8-0. Gametime 420 eventually came back to get a touchdown of their own to cut the lead 8-6. That became the final score as the 80's Babies walked off victorious. The next game of the triple-header was 1st Ohio Warriors. Needless to say, the Babies found the groove and got crispy blowing them out by the mercy rule 18-0. The third and final game was against Tailgators. The Babies kept rolling and stayed crispy winning again 20-0 utilizing the mercy rule. On the day, all the Babies played extremely well. Phil stepped out catching several touchdowns as well as making some big catches when they were needed. James got his first touchdown against Tailgators. Ank, Bones, and a host of other players also make great plays offensively as the 80's Babies exploded for 44 points as opposed to the 2 points the last time they came to Findlay. Defensively, all the rushers led today by Chris (Wright State) played an awesome set of games, keeping the pressure on and QBs frustrated. Jeff and Sampson each had a interception. Congrats to all the 80's Babies for great games today! Look out Flag City, the Babies are here!
Defense Locks down in Findlay!
The 80's Babies defense showed up Findlay and locked down both teams for only 14 total points in two games. The first game was a heart-breaking 6-0 loss to Flynn's Marauders. The offense was driving at the end of the game to tie and kick for a win, when it ended with an interception. The second game was another heart-breaker as they lost to Old Stoney 8-2. The offense did a great job with moving the ball, but was unable to punch it in. The defense again played a stellar game providing the only points in the tournament with a safety by Dre. The Babies stayed together as a team, and played hard all the way through. Great job to everyone for a well-played tournament.
80's Babies Invade Toledo!
The 80's Babies headed for Toledo on February 24, 2008 for a round robin tournament. The conditions were not in favor of the normally cutting and elusive Babies. The field was frozen as if playing on concrete. The frozen tundra was temporarily moved from Green Bay to Toledo for the weekend. The Babies had some great moments and great leadership led by Mike and Bones. Lee added a spark to the defense stepping in as linebacker. The defense played great with several sacks and a interception by Mike that went for touchdown. Donta also picked off a lateral and returned it to the one yard line which the offense turned into 6 points to win the game. The offense showed life with spectacular catches by Dre, along with two successful lateral plays to Donta, one of which went almost 60 yards for touchdown. The 80's Babies fell just short getting in the bracket games, but didn't go home without playing good football. In fact, they left a message to Toledo, "Watch out, we WILL be back!" Great Job to the 80's Babies for three great games! And welcome Lee to the 80's Babies!
80's Babies go to the Nationals!
The 80's Babies went to Orlando, Fl for the USFTL National Championship. The stage was set large, however, unfortunately, they couldn't take charge. The 80's Babies won one and lost two before the were sent home. The first game loss was by 1 point, while the second loss was by 4 points. They stayed in the games and played excellent. Congratulations to the players who went down and represented Dayton, OH and the 80's Babies. Great Job Guys!

Them Babies are at it again, winning the Dayton Christmas NIT at Kettering Fields last weekend. The Babies came out slow but got some steam and began to roll. They played R&L Carriers, Extreme, and Hellfish (Columbus) in a round robin style. Winning all three round robin games put them in the finals to play Hellfish from Columbus. The Babies were victorious 21-13, and defending their crown as well as their city. Congrats to all the Babies and the other teams for their efforts. Stay tuned as we will soon have some Nationals Updates........

The 80's Babies went to Findlay to take on another tournament. They played quite well with varying talented teams. Bones proved he is not only a quality RB, but could also be known as Bones da LB as well. Had two interceptions while also grapping some good flags. The defensive line played excellent as well with Chris leading the way with several sacks on the day. Offensively, Mike and Phil had some great catches, with each having scores. Robert, had a great day passing and running, with no interceptions. The Babies came out blazing in the first game rolling to a 26-6 decision over Friends of Jesus. The next battle ensued with the Titans from Toledo, winning the game 18-16. The next two games proved to be greatest of the day when they played fellow Dayton team Resurrection for the championship. Resurrection gave 80's Babies their first tournament loss by a score of 22-20 in overtime. The Babies came back in the second and deciding game beating their hometeam rival 20-14. Congrats to all 80's Babies on their Turkey Bowl Championship and to all participants in the tournament.
