Spring 2010 on line registrations now being accepted
On line registrations for the Spring 2010 season are now being accepted.
Players, coaches and sponsors can register on line at any time until February 6.
In person registrations will be held on
Saturday, January 16
Saturday, January 30
Saturday, February 6
from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Germantown Community Center on Kingsview Rd.

The following information pertains to the tryouts for the Hawks select baseball teams.

The 14U Hawks will be hosting their tryouts on Saturday and Sunday, Nov 28-29 at South Germantown field D for the 2010 spring season. This team will play in the 14U MCBA age group and will participate in spring tournaments. Tryout time for Saturday will be from 11-12:30 and on Sunday from 2:00-3:30. We may have to change the location to a nearby field if it is occupied, so please make sure you see Coach Quack before dropping off your son. We understand this is over the Thanksgiving weekend, so contact Coach John Quackenbush at (240) 401-3603 if you are scheduled to be out of town to make other arrangements. Please call with any questions as well.

Coaches Opening Day Drive Against Hunger
 On April 18th, Germantown Athletic Club teams helped the children and families in need of assistance through Germantown Help. who serves nearly 1,000 families in Germantown on the "list" that entitles them to food and assistance. This list has grown significantly and resources are severely depleted at this time.
You can make a financial donation (checks can be made out to Germantown Help and are tax deductible) or Giant Food gift cards are also accepted. Non-perishable items needed include breakfast cereals, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, tuna fish, other canned meats, canned fruits/vegetables/soups, rice and pasta.
A huge thank you to all of the coaches and parents for a very successful food drive! The coaches, children and families that will benefit from your generosity truly appreciate your kindness. A special thanks to Mike Ginsberg for leading the effort.
