U10 Lady Ambush Champions of Fusion Tourney

The U10 Lady Ambush were the U10 Champions in the Clarksville Fusion Tournament 18-19 May 2013. The girls went 3-0 in the tournament with 2 shut outs. In the first game the girls defeated the Lady Pumas 2-0 with goals from Peyton Lewis and Grace Pape and an assist from Grasen Givens.
Between the Keeper, Abby Moss, and Sweeper, Emily Hancock, only one shot was taken on goal. The girls won their second game against Lady Fusion 1-0. Anna Hernandez scored the lone goal with an assist from Lauren Watkins. Abby Moss had 3 saves. The girls won their last game against White House with a score of 5-1. Goals were scored by Grace Pape (3) and Anna Hernandez (2). Assists came from Grasen Givens, Anna Hernandez, Emily Hancock, Peyton Lewis, and Grace Pape. Abby Moss had 2 saves, while also taking on attackers out of the box.
Ambush Soccer Hosts National Tournament

Ambush Soccer Association is bringing back the 3v3 Live Tournament to Hopkinsville. This National tournament will make its second annual appearance in Hopkinsville on July 13, 2013. Players do not have to be registered with the State to play, you just simply put a team together, register and pay your fee on the web site link below. Age Groups U6-Adult
This is a great way to jump start your summer training with your high school teams, Adult Teams or end the season with your club team.

Lady Ambush Takes On Louisville Cup
April 22, 2013

The Lady Ambush U14 team come home from The Louisville Cup as Finalst this past weekend. LA was defeated by Bluegrass Soccer Club 0-2 with Meredith Pace saving 5 in goal. LA played JYSA Storm Orange and won 5-1 with 2 goals by Cailey Burman, 2 by Gwendolyn Bell and 1 by Kinley Waldrop. Burman having a assist along with 2 by Kaitlyn Hayes. Pace saving 3 in goal. Last game LA won over SFCS The Phoenix 1-0 with Burman having the lone goal and Pace having 5 goal saves. Other Team members are Allie Cundiff, Sydney Hale, Lilly Hall, Meredith Kessler, Macy Oatts, Avery Ohara, Karigan Osborne, Amber Powell, Mary Glenn Powell, Baleigh Ross, Libby Steil and coached by Ben Russell
U10 Lady Ambush Travels to Music City

The Lady Ambush U10 team traveled to the Music City Invitational this past weekend (April 20-21). The girls played in a strong U10 bracket consisting of 9 teams from Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.
The girls ended the tournament making it to the Semi Finals with a winning record of 2-1-1. In the first game, the girls faced SSA Harpeth Chelsea Elite ending with a 3-3 tie. Goals came from Anna Hernandez (2) and Peyton Lewis (1). Lauren Watkins had 3 assists. Abby Moss had 8 saves in the goal. The Lady Ambush played Arlington Soccer Academy Navy for the second game defeating ASA 10-0. Goals scored by Grasen Givens (2), Anna Hernandez (2), Peyton Lewis (2), Grace Pape (2), Abbi Bullock (1), and Emily Hancock (1). Assists came from Anna Hernandez (2), Lauren Watkins (2), Peyton Lewis (1) and Grace Pape (1). Abby Moss had 4 saves in the goal. In the Quarter Finals the girls defeated SSA Harpeth Chelsea Premier 5-4. The game went into 2 OT, PKs & Sudden death PK. Sudden Death PK was scored by Peyton Lewis. Goals were scored by Emily Hancock (2) and Grace Pape (2) with assists coming from Grasen Givens (1), Anna Hernandez (1) and Lauren Watkins (1). Abby Moss had 9 saves in the goal and Emily Hancock had 2 saves in the goal. The girls were defeated in the Semi Finals by the eventual tournament Champions, SSA Harpeth Chelsea Elite team 1-2. Grace Pape scored 1 goal and Abby Moss had 10 saves in the goal.

The U10 Lady Ambush traveled to Owensboro for the United Spring tournament on 13-14 April 2013. The Lady Ambush finished as the U10 Girls Champions with a record of 2-0-1. In the first game, the girls defeated Owensboro United with a score of 11-0 with goals from Anna Hernandez (3), Grasen Givens (3), Emily Hancock (2), Abbi Bullock (1), Grace Pape (1) and Madelyn Castro (1). The girls played a tough second game defeating Pennyrile Valley Club with a score of 3-1 with goals from Madelyn Castro (2) and Grace Pape (1). The girls played SKY Soccer Club for the last game with a score of 4-4. Abbi Bullock, Piper Hancock, Anna Hernandez and Grace Pape each scored against the SKY team. The U10 Lady Ambush travel to the Music City Invitational on 20-21 April for their next tournament.
U9 Boys Achieve First Victory In Inaugural Season

Ambush U9 celebrated its first victory as a newly formed team on Saturday. Coach Mark Pyle commented "It is exciting to watch the development of this young team. It is also good to see the younger brothers of many of our older Ambush players get their time in the spotlight. Sometimes the most fun happens between games." This is only the Second competitive tournament for many of the boys on this new Ambush squad it is a big acheivement winning that first game. "This team has been working hard and I am proud of their progress." Pyle concluded.
U14 Boys Capture Second In United Spring Cup Tourney

The Ambush U14 boys placed 2nd in the United Spring Cup tournament in Owensboro, KY. The team had 3 wins and 1 loss for the weekend. They defeated SWISA from Indiana, Evansville Indiana, and Owensboro Gonzalez. The only loss came to Owenboro Booker in the final game. Team members are Ethan Noel, Morgan Demps, Joel Dempsey, Brennan Horn, Zach Croom, Sean Thomas, Kyle Bleidt, Reid Heltsley, Tyler Aldridge, Caleb Joiner, Caleb Gary, Taylor Harton, Lucas Doss, Trey Johnston, Braden Casey, Ryan Pyle. The U10 Lady Ambush traveled to Murfreesboro for the Bash in the Boro tournament 6-7 April 2013. The girls were Finalists in the tournament going 1-1-1. In the first game the girls defeated SSA Chelsea Harpeth 4-2 with goals from Anna Hernandez, Lauren Watkins (2), and Peyton Lewis. The girls tied their second game against TSC Swoosh 3-3 with goals from Grasen Givens (2) and Anna Hernandez. The girls went against Eagle Express for the last game with a score of 2-6. Grace Pape and Piper Hancock each scored in the third game. The U10 Lady Ambush travels to Owensboro 13-14 April and SSA Harpeth 20-21 April for tournaments.
U17 Lady Ambush Place Second @ Kick in the Bluegrass

Lady Ambush U17 girls competed in the “Kick in the Bluegrass” soccer tournament Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 in Versailles, KY.
On Saturday the Lady Ambush tied Lexington Futbol Club 1-1 and Classics Eagles of Westerville, Ohio 3-3. On Sunday the Lady Ambush defeated Bluegrass Soccer Club of Versailles 5-0 and EKFC of Ashland, KY 7-0. The team ended the weekend with a 2nd place finish.
The team consists of: Lilly Colley, Jewels Dempsey, Rachel Gardner, Katie Garnett, Karessa Gorman, Rachel Hancock, Kelsey Humphries, Reagan Johnston, Makenzie Mitchell, Caroline Noel, Allyson Parker, Kendall Pryor, Jenna Puckett, Payton Strode, Morgan Watkins and Ashley West. The team is coached by Jeff Addison and Ben Russell.
U14 Ambush "Swamps" The Competition @ Murray Spring Shootout

The Ambush boys U14 team competed in the Murray Spring Shootout on Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th. On Saturday, Ambush defeated Jackson United 4-1 and Poplar Bluff United 10-0. On Sunday, Ambush went on to beat West Ky Futbol 8-1 and Murray Revolution 2-1. The win against Murray Revolution gave them the 1st place standing.

Ambush 01 Battles To Second Place @ Murray Spring Shootout

Ambush 01 finishes second at Murray tournament. Ambush was 2 and 1 on the weekend losing the first match to Murray 5 - 2. The team battled back to win the next two contests, first they defeated Western Ky. 7 - 1. They finished Sunday with a victory over the Paducah Pumas 4 - 2.

U9 Ambush Team Competes In First Tournament!

Ambush Soccer Association's newest team traveled to Murray this past weekend to play in the MCC Spring Shootout. Ambush lost to West Ky United 1-10. Ethan Alexander had the lone goal and Drew Taylor had 6 saves in the goal. Second game against Swisa U9 Fire Blue we were defeated 1-6. Trenton Hayes scoring and Evan Pyle having the assist. Alexander saved 9 goals, Taylor saving 3 and Zach Bryant saving 6. The last game Ambush took a fall to Paris Danger 4-7. Pyle scorin 2, Alexander 1 and Bryant 1 with Hayes having 3 assist. Taylor in the goal saving 15. Other members are Sam Cotthoff, Gabe Harton, Carson Works, Andrew Gentry, Mason Gamble and Logan Gorman. Great effort guys on your first tournament. Ambush U10 Boys Claim Kick or Treat Championship
The Ambush U10 boys claimed their second championship of the
season by winning the Kick or Treat Classic in Bowling Green October 28,
2012. Group play included wins over SKY Soccer Club 12-0 and Nelson Elite
6-1. A semi final victory over Ohio County Rage Revolution 8-1 led to a
hard fought victory in the championship game over Owensboro Elite 5-2.
The Ambush U10 boys team includes William Bryan, Trenton Coble, Conner Dill,
Layne Jorgensen, Evan Pyle, Jack Shields, J.T. Spainhoward, Cade Terry, and
Harrison Watts. The team is coached by Jandro Hererra.

Lady Ambush 98 Competes
Lady Ambush 98 played in the Spring Shootout in Murray, Kentucky on March 17-18, 2012. On March 17, they played MCCSA Revolution 98, losing 0-4; however, Ashley West had sixteen saves and Natalie Crane had two saves in the goal for Ambush. In the second game, they lost to MCCSA Revolution 99 by a score of 0-1. Ashley West had three saves in the goal during that game.
On Sunday, March 18, Lady Ambush won a game against Paris Danger 99 by a score of 6-0. Kinley Waldrop and Cailey Burman had two goals each, and Kaitlyn Hayes and Jenna Shouse each scored a goal. Cailey Burman had one assist, and Ashley West had four saves in the goal.
Other players on the Lady Ambush 98 team are Hannah Bryan, Ashley Densmore, Lexie Duncan, Logan Ferrell, Sydney Hale, Abbygayle Holmes, Brittany Ouellette, Kendal Pryor, and Jordan Woodall. They are coached by Jennifer Rye and Will Bryan.

U13 Lady Ambush are champions 2nd year in a row at Whitehouse Classic in Whitehouse, TN. La won against BWSC of Tn 7-1. Cailey Burman scoring 6 and Meredith Kessler 1 with Kaiylyn Hayes, Alli Cundiff and Sydney Hale having assist. Meredith Pace goalie saving 9. LA fell to HFC Hurricans of TN 2-1. Kaitlyn Hayes scoring the single goal and Pace making 6 saves in goal. Heading into the semi-finals against HFC again La won 3-1. Burman scoring 2 and Kinley Waldrop scoring 1. Burman had an assist also and Pace 15 saves. Has we headed into the championship agaisnt Derby City Rossoneri of Ky Burman scored the only goal that gave us the win 1-0. Pace having 11 saves. Great team work also by Lilly Hall, Macy Oatts, Avery Ohara, Karigan Osborne, Mary Glenn Powell, Amber Powell, Baleigh Ross, Libby Steil and awesome coaching by Ben Russell.
Addison Named To Head Academy Training
Ambush Soccer Association is proud to announce, Jeff Addison has been named Academy Trainer.
Jeff has coached high school girls for 17 years. The last 9 as a head coach, building a record of 128-48-14. Addison has coached travel soccer 18 years and the last 15 with Ambush. Jeff played 4 years at Hopkinsville High School and 2 years at Brescia University. Coach Addison has an Class E License.

Lady Ambush 99 started there fall season at the Kick or Treat Classic in Bowling Green this past wekend. First game falling to Fusion FC 1-4. Cailey Burman scoring the only goal. Kaitlyn Hayes had the assist. Meredith Pace in goal saving 10. Losing the second game to Brentwood 2-4. Burman and Hayes each scoring a goal. Pace saving 14 in goal. LA won against Storm 3-0. Burman scoring 2 and Alli Cundiff scoring one. Pace saving 10 in goal. Ambush 01 won three games on Saturday September 17th in Marshall County. The first game they defeated Crittenden County 9-1. In their second match they played Caldwell County, winning by a score of 8-2. In the final match of the day they beat Marshall County 4-0, with Ethan Bailey getting the shutout in goal. Lady Ambush 99 (Green) Compete in the Eurosport Challenge Cup
The Lady Ambush 99 Green team ended there season by playing in the Eurosport Challenge Cup in Louisville this past weekend. First game played against KSA Select 98 Walcott,LA lost 0-2. Meredith Pace did an awesome job as goalie saving 13 goals. LA defeated SKY of Bowling Green in there second game 4-1. Cailey Burman, Mary Glenn Powell each had one and Meredith Kessler scored 2 with Kaitlyn Hayes and Burman each having an assist and Pace saving 15 in the goal. The Ambush 00 soccer team went 3 and 1 to finish as runner up in the Kick For a Cure Soccer Tournament in Owensboro, Ky this past weekend. Ambush scored 16 goals and allowed only 4 in their first three games of the weekend. They fell to White House, TN in the championship game. Ambush 99 rebounded Sunday with a 4-1 win over Forrest Park as Caleb Joiner cashed in on 3 goals and Joel Dempsey added the other lone goal. Ambush 99 lost a hard fought game to West Kentucky Futbol Club 2-4 with goals by Caleb Joiner and Joel Dempsey. Ambush 99 rebounded on Sunday with a 5-1 win over Paris Danger with three goals from Ethan Noel, and one goal from Caleb Joiner and Joel Dempsey. Ambush 99 finished strong with a 5-0 shotout of Bowling Green Futbol Club. Hayden Daniel had the shutout in goal with three goals by Caleb Joiner and one goal by Ryan Pyle and Ethan Noel. Lady Ambush U17 Girls took 2nd place at the WKONA Spring Soccer Classic in Bowling Green on May 7th & 8th. In the first game Lady Ambush defeated Holston Valley Futbol Club 3-0 with goals from Lexie Bozell, Eden Mack, and Kelsey Humphries. Brittany Kinnard had the shutout in the goal. The second game was forfeited by TNFC 93 Fury. On Sunday Lady Ambush tied Sky U17 1-1 with the lone goal from Lexi Sabatino. In the final game, Lady Ambush lost 2-0 to Atletico Flames. Ambush 00 won against Murray Revolution 5 to 2 in their first game Saturday. Ethan Noel had 2 goals and 1 assist, Braden Casey, Caleb Gary and Caleb Joiner each added a goal. Tyler Aldridge and Morgan Demps split time in the goal combining for 9 saves. In the second game Noel had a hat trick, Joiner had 2 goals, Casey had a goal and an assist and Aldridge added a goal for a 7 to 2 win. Demps had 8 saves in goal. The Lady Ambush Green 99 team took 3rd place at the Memphis Champions Cup in Memphis, TN this past weekend. Ambush won against 00Lady Arsenal 6-2. Lilly Hall, Cailey Burman and Kaitlyn Hayes each scoring 2. The goalie Meredith Pace had 11 saves in goal. Ambush defeated MS Brilla FC 2-1. Meredith Kessler and Burman scoring and Pace saving 10 goals. Ambush falling to Miss Fire 7-4, Kinley Waldrop, Micheala Langhi, Burman & Hall all scored and Pace saving 13 goals. Lady Ambush U17 Girls take 3rd at Louisville Cup
Lady Ambush U17 Girls take 3rd at Louisville Cup this past weekend April 16th and 17th in Louisville. In the first game Lady Ambush lost 3-1 to Scor Mavericks with the lone goal from Lexie Bozell. The second game ended in a 0-0 tie against Team Veloce. On Sunday Lady Ambush rallied back with 1-0 win over FOSC United with the lone goal from Eden Mack, Brittany Kinnard had the shutout in goal. In the final game Lady Ambush won 3-0 over Nelson County with a goal from Bozell and 2 goals from Kelsey Humphries, Kinnard had the shutout in goal. Other team members are Lexi Sabatino, Allyson Parker, Meg Thalmann, Garnett Bruce, Hadley Scruggs, Samantha Michaud, Rachel Land, Julia Fox, Casey Henson and Morgan Thalmann, and coached by Tony Henson.
U17 Girls attend the John Talley College Showcase
Lady Ambush U17 Girls attended the John Talley College Showcase in Memphis TN on March 26 & 27. In the first game Lady Ambush lost to Lady Lobos 95 5-0. In the second game, Lady Ambush won 3-0 with goals from Lexie Bozell, Eden Mack, and Lexi Sabatino. Brittany Kinnard had a shutout in the goal.
On Sunday Lady Ambush won 7-0 over Purple Rain with a hat trick from Lexie Bozell, and a pair of goals from Eden Mack and Kelsey Humphries. Brittany Kinnard had a shutout in the goal. Other team members are Allyson Parker, Meg Thalmann, Hunter Neel, Garnett Bruce, Hadley Scruggs, Samantha Michaud, Rachel Land, Julia Fox, Casey Henson and Morgan Thalmann, and coached by Tony Henson.
Ambush 95/96 U16 Boys team takes 3rd @ MCCSA tournament
The Ambush 95/96 U16 Boys team takes 3rd Place at the MCCSA tournament, in Murray, Ky. 3/19-3/20/11. On Saturday,they were defeated by MCSA Stealth, 1-0 and Paducah Storm 96, 3-2. Scoring against the Storm was William Fox and Landon Stratton. On Sunday, Ambush tied Paducah Storm Warriors 1-1 with Sam Stevens scoring on a PK. Ambush then defeated U16 Classic, Evansville, In., with a score of 2-0, with Clark Adams and Wade Bays providing goals with an assist by Dylan Waldrop. Colby Bicksler is credited with the shutout.
Other team members are: Avery Seeger, Taylor Cunningham, Clayton Joyce, Dalton Clark, RJ Rutzler, Kyle Henson, Matt Gibson, and Primal Patel. They are coached by David Griffith.

Congrats, Lady Ambush 99 (Green) the White House Spring Classic Champions! Your Ambush family is very proud!!!
The Lady Ambush 99 Green team won first place in the U12 girls premier division at the White House Spring Classics in White House, TN this past weekend. Lady Ambush played White House Soccer Club in the first game and won 5 to 3. Goals were made by Meredith Kessler, Kinley Waldrop, Kaitlyn Hayes and 2 by Cailey Burman. Assist were made by Meredith Kessler, Kinley Waldrop and Cailey Burman. The goalie was Meredith Pace and she had 11 saves. The second game Lady Ambush lost to TN Rush Swoosh 2-1. The only goal was scored by Kaitlyn Hayes. Goalie Meredith Pace had 14 saves. The final game Lady Ambush defeated Clarksville Royals 6-0. Kaitlyn Hayes and Cailey Burman scored 3 each. Meredith Pace the goalie had 6 saves. Other team members are: Sydney Hale, Lilly Hall, Michaela Langhi, Macy Oatts, Amber Powell, Mary Glenn Powell and Baleigh Ross, Coached by Jeff Addison.
