Dear soccer community, we have very sad news to share with you.
Ian Pogue, a Varsity goalie on our 2011-2012 team and a 2012 Anderson graduate,
died April 19 during a fatal car accident on his way home from college at Texas A&M.
We are speechless that such a tragedy has befallen our community once again. Our hearts and prayers are with his family and friends. Please encourage your sons to take extra care while driving, and look out for themselves and each other.
Memorial service is Saturday, April 27th, 10 a.m., Riverbend Church Austin, 4212 North Capital of TX Hwy

The AHS Soccer booster club is heavily involved with promoting the team—funding game day polo shirts for each player, selling spirit t-shirts, finding season sponsors, hosting the banquet, filming or photographing the teams, posting game announcements at school and on the marquee display at Steck & Mesa, submitting write-ups in the Trojan Times, and coordinating the game day meals. Volunteer to help your son's team! If you're interested in helping, contact the men's soccer booster club.
Support the teams with a Booster Club Membership.The cost to join is $50, which is used to promote the team, purchase the game day polos, and offset banquet and spirit item expenses. Anyone can join! Just visit our website at here and click on the Online Forms menu in the left-hand column to obtain the signup form and instructions.
