Basketball Sign ups
If you still need to sign up for basketball, you may do so on the day of tryouts.
- Tryouts will be held on Saturday November 14 - sign ups will be taken from 8:00-10:00 AM.
- Tryouts are the the old Intermediate School gym (102 Bill Jackson Dr.).
Tryout/Draft Schedule:
11:00 = Kindergarten

Kindergarteners do not try out so they are not required to be there on Saturday. Coaches will draft players and call to notify each player what team they are on. |
12:00 = 1st/2nd Grade Boys
1:00 = 5th/6th Grade Boys
2:00 = 3rd/4th Grade Boys
3:00 = 3rd/4th Grade Girls
4:00 = 5th/6th Grade Girls
5:00 = 1st/2nd Grade Girls

Mission Statement
Alvarado Youth Association Inc. seeks to implant in the youth of this community, ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence; so that they may be finer, stronger, and happier youth who will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults. This objective will be taught by providing supervised competitive athletic programs. The adults in this Association shall strive to achieve this objective by exemplifying these same ideals when they are representing the association in an official capacity.
