2014 Great Western Lacrosse Camp

The club recommends the Great Western Lacrosse Camp in San Diego if you are looking for an instructional camp this summer. The camp is in its 30th year providing instruction in a safe & fun environment. The camp is under the direction of Russ Olsen and is one of the longest running instructional camps on the west coast. I played with Russ and have known him for over 30 years, and can personally vouch for the quality of this camp.

The players get a great combination of skill teaching, team concepts, playing games and having fun with all the other activities.

All the players stay in the dorms adjacent to the field in a safe environment. All of the camp staff sleep at the dorms on the same floor as the campers (brings back memories of college for me).

Date: July 16th thru July 20th
Location: San Diego State University
Housing: Players are housed & fed at the dorms in San Diego State University
Camp Web Site: www.greatwesternlacrosse.com for information and registration
Specialty Camp: The camp runs a specialty camp that start the day before the regular session for Face-Off, Shooting, Defense and Goalies.

Coach Prausa has been on the camp staff for the past 10 years and will be there this summer working with the D2 (JHS) level again this summer and at the facility all day & night.
