BANG FOR BUCKS CHAMPIONS!!!!!
B&B finally put all the pieces together and walked away as the 2009 ASA E Bang for Bucks Champions!!!!!
Game 1 vs. Anahiem Swats - We started off the tourney with a bang plating 7 runners in the first inning and never looked backed, winning 14-6.
Game 2 vs. De Aquellas - We again started off with a Bang plating 6 runs in the first inning and never looked backed, rolling to a 11-1 mercy rule victory.
Game 3 vs. Malditos - This time we started off slowly, but put a couple of innings together when we needed to, winning 10-6
Game 4 vs. Fat Kids (Championship) - It seems like we have played Fat Kids in every tourney for the past three months. All the games have been back and forth. This time B&B would not be denined. We rolled out to a 11-1 lead heading into the bottom of the 5th. With 1 out Fat Kids loaded the bases. A line drive to third base resulted in a double play ending the tourney and making B&B the 2009 ASA E Bang for Bucks Champions!!!!!
B&B starts the year off strong..
B&B started the year off at the first Bang for Bucks qualifier. Starting the day 3-0 put us into the winners bracket final against De Aquellas...The game went back and forth until the 7th when we gave up three runs and only answered with one, losing 10-8. Sunday morning we would face The Show....in another back and forth game, we were trailing 7-6 going into the top of the 7th. Unfortunately, we would hit our only home run of the tourney to lead off the 7th....ball game OVER....3rd place in the first tourney of the year. Once we get the final pieces of the roster in place, we will be ready to start finishing off people the way we should!!!
