Baseball taught the "Pro" way!!
My name is Rusty Ford and I teach all aspects of the game of baseball to kids of all ages. My knowledge of baseball comes to me from many people, from the High School ranks all the way to Pro ball. I played high school baseball in Lufkin, Texas where I was a pitcher. After high school, I pitched collegiately at Angelina College and Texas Wesleyan University. Following college I pitched professionally for 6 seasons in the San Diego Padre organization. I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best instructors in baseball and feel their knowledge must be passed on to kids in East Texas. My goal for each young player is to teach them how to play correctly to allow them to better enjoy the great game of baseball. Take the time to check out the pricing for lessons and camps from the "Pricing" Section in the column to the left . For more info or to sign up for lessons or camps please call me at (936)699-2115.

Praise Report
Thank you for your expertise in getting our pitchers off to a fast "Rolling Wave" start for 2008. I'm sure that the pre-season pitching camp that our boys went to helped get the foundation that they needed. We won our first tournament, winning all five games.

Thought for the Day
"The further you get away from the field the easier baseball looks. Think about that when you are sitting in the stands wondering why your little leaguer cannot hit that hard thrower on the mound." ESPN analyst and MLB Hall of Famer Joe Morgan
