2013 Opening Day Master of Ceremonies
We're proud to announce that our Opening Day Master of Ceremonies will be none other that Pittsburgh Pirate legend and 1979 World Series champion Kent Tekulve!!!
Bethel Church League's Opening Day festivities will be held on Saturday April 13th at Simmons Park. The Day will begin at 10 AM with our opening ceremonies to include Color Guard, Singing of our National Anthem, Opening Prayer, and A Speech and Honorary First Pitch thrown out by our Master of Ceremonies, Pittsburgh Pirate great, Kent Tekulve. The day will include great baseball action, a fantastic Concession Stand, a picnic area, raffles and 50/50's throughout the day and will end with an evening filled with skill competitions and a Home Run Derby. Please mark the date and plan to attend.

Pony Bat Rules
2-5/8” barrel bats are legal in all divisions of PONY Baseball. If a 2-5/8” bat is a -3, it must be BBCOR certified (stamped on the bat). -4 through -14 Should have a BPF of 1.15 or less. If not stamped with either of these, not legal. Composite barrel bats are illegal and must be alloy (or wood).
2-1/4" barrel bats are legal in all divisions of PONY Baseball. They must have a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less stamped on the bat.
2-3/4" barrel bats are illegal in all divisions of PONY Baseball.

Commensurate emphasis is directed by coaches and administrators toward instilling the values of hard work, good sportsmanship, fair play and respect for teammates, opposing players, coaches, umpires and the rules of the game. All while we strive to emphasize how faith and fun hit a home run.
