The Beatties Ford Youth Academic and Athletic Association (BFYAAA)  is a non-profit organization committed to helping the youth in our area overcome any obstacles they may encounter on the road to academic and athletic achievement.  This goal is reached through our academic, athletic and mentorship programs.  We currently serve over 300 youth ages 7-15.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

ACADEMICS COME FIRST! All participants with a GPA of 2.0 or less are required to attend weekly tutoring for 1-2 hours.  Students are assisted with homework, provided hands-on activities, test-taking strategies and more.

MENTORING: This program engages, educates and motivates the youth to acquire the knowledge and confidence to purse his/her dreams.  Successful mentorship’s support education, day-to-day living and future career choices.

ATHLETICS: Our athletic program consists of full-contact football and cheerleading.  In 2008, we had 9 Div-1 teams participate in the Pop Warner Little Panthers League, hosted the 3rdannual Queen City Classic, our PeeWees and Jr.Pee Wees Won the 2008 Optimist Bowl, Jr. Midgets (Winners) and Midget teams participated in the 2007 Optimist Bowl championship game. The regular season runs from the first weekend in September until mid-November and practice begins after a three-week camp in July.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Sponsorships or donations are needed to provide incentives for academic accomplishments, to strengthen our mentor program, to provide scholarships to low-income participants and to assist with purchasing and maintaining safety equipment.

For more information or a complete sponsorship packet: email us at bfyaaa@aol.com or call one of our board members.
