The Brick Soccer Moms played a charity game for Breast Cancer on Saturday September 24, 2009. The Moms won 2-1 against the Howell Recreation team. The Soccer Moms would like to thank IIP, Innovation in Print for donating our shirts (732) 730-9459. It was a great day dispite the rain. Pictured are: (front row) Christine Swanson "Swissy", Susan Kitrick, Daniella Guisto, Roxan Hunt, Michele Kiernan, Karianne Carney, Kris Thomas, (back row) Jamie Dietz, Melanie Long, Heather Robberson, Lea Lepore, Andrea Dominguez, Dana Rodriguez, Tina Sherry, Christine Ruibal, Leslie Glinka. The Brick Coaches also played against Twin County Coaches on Saturday to help raise money. The Brick Coaches also won 2-1. We raised over $2,000.00 for Making Strides for Breast Cancer. A Special Thanks to the Brick Town Soccer Association for sponsoring this event and Great job to all the players, Refs and Volunteers that made it a great Success!!! Also thanks to Shore Imaging for donating 10 cases of bottled water for the players and fund-raising 732) 364-9565.

Brick Speed, a U-10 (Fall 2009) Girls Soccer Team looking for field players/ goalie. Required age range: August 1, 1999- July 31,2000. The team will be playing in Mosa National 4 division this coming Fall 09 season. The team will practice 2 days a week with a trainer. Added team: Brick is forming a new U-8 Girls soccer team for Fall 2009 season Girls born between August 1, 2001 - July 31st 2002(currently U-7 in our rec program) are eligible. Previous email U-9 girls birth dates were incorrect, ALL U-8 MUST PLAY IN THEIR AGE GROUPS. Any questions please call Dana Havens (848)333-8025.

38th Annual Memorial Day Tournament Date May 29-31, 2010
The Brick Township Soccer Association would like to thank all teams that participated in our Memorial Day Tournament this year. Our tournament was again a tremendous success because of your support. We hope that all teams involved had a great time and we look forward to your return next year. Congratulations to all the winners. A list of the winners has been posted and can be accessed by clicking on the Memorial Day Tournament tab on the left side of this page.
Registration for 2010 Memorial Day Tournament will be available on December 1, 2009.

Strikeouts for Scholarships
Seton Hall University and WCBS 880 AM — the Yankees Radio Network — are teaming up to support Strikeouts for Scholarships, a program in honor of Ed Lucas '62, longtime baseball reporter and analyst. Ed Lucas lost his sight shortly after watching Bobby Thompson hit "The shot heard 'round the world" in 1951. Ed is the father of Ed Lucas, who is the coach of the BTSA Bulldogs.
These scholarships will provide hundreds of Seton Hall students who have a disability with financial assistance while earning their college degrees.
