State results

Well, we didnt do as well as we hoped, but we had fun and played 3 games. In game 1 vs Rhino of Kalispel, we came out smoking and hung a 20-2 5 inning game on them,we hit extremly well, had our usual steller "D" and turned a 6-4-3 game ending dp to end in style. On to a game 2 rematch with j-t of GT Falls, 2nd game in state we play a team we have already seen 6 times. In a unheard of pitchers struggle matching 2 aces, we managed to eak out a 4-5 loss that was the talk of the complex. Both teams struggled to find holes in the defenses, but in the end J-Bar pushed 2 across in the bottom of the 7th to advance to the winners bracket. Our 3rd game was against Marvolous siding of Kalispel in a l-o bracket.what an epic struggle it was,we were the home team and needed every at bat to fight with a younger team through 9 innings. Although we ended up on the bottom of an 9-8 game we had some amazing plays to back our defense, from Heffs running over the shoulder snag to JK's face plant triple,Russ geting a batter to s.o. and every one else playing up to our exceedingly high expectations, we just couldnt finish them off. THANK all of the people who helped us this year, and to all of you, LET'S GET'EM NEXT YEAR.

Not bad for a first year team, we made it to state as the 5th place team. great job men, I look forward to having a great time in Kalispel.
