Mission Statement
The California Stars-Coast organization provides the youth of the Central California Coast communities the opportunity to increase their fast-pitch softball knowledge and skills to allow the youth athlete to compete at a higher level of competition than offered by community recreational softball programs. Our players have the opportunity to showcase their skills, participate in competitions at the state, regional and national levels, while attracting the attention of collegiate fast-pitch softball programs. The organization strives to provide an environment that fosters good sportsmanship, team work, academic performance, and other core values of good citizenship.

Our Goals

The goal of our organization and our teams is this! To develop the talents of our players and teams to compete on an annual basis at American Softball Association (ASA) National Championship Tournament. We look forward to our 2009 season as we build as a team through hard work both on and off the field.

In reaching our goals we have selected a coaching staff of non-parent individuals who love the game, players and excitement of a higher level of play. Their dedication is truly heartfelt and they see the talents of each player individually and as a team. Our staff is never satisfied with the growth of our players and will continue to mentor and coach even after they move up in age group. Collectively our staff has over 50 years experience coaching and have earned many Nationals berths. This year like others, our staff is focused on taking our girls to Nationals.

To achieve this goal we must work together as an entire unit and be on the same page. Through honesty, integrity, patience and strong belief in accomplishment we as parents, coaches and players will win with any outcome. We will play in top quality tournaments and may not win every game, make a great play or earn a shut out. However in playing tournaments against the top quality teams, we will continue to improve our own play and become a better team by season end when it really counts. Our girls will learn how to deal with setbacks, accomplishments, competition and life skills. Our first true measure will be at the Metro where we will be playing to qualify for a National Championship berth at the ASA National Tournament. Never being satisfied the girls will continue to play at their highest level in their National Tournament where they know they are playing with the best.

What sets our organization apart form others? We believe that we have the coaching staff, philosophy and determination to get the best out of your athlete. Whether we have you for one year or you play with us until is time to move on to a gold level, we are going to get the best out of your daughter and team.
