CHARLTON WINS TOURNAMENT
The Charlton County Warriors win the end of the season tournament in Waycross Ga.
The Warriors won 3 games on the day, each by 1 run to take home the Champions trophy.
Charlton pitched well and played solid defense en route to a 3-2 victory in Game one over the Riverdogs of Camden, a 2-1 victory in Game 2 over Clinch County and another 2-1 victory in the Championship game against the number 2 seed team from Wayne County.
CONGRATS to all the Players on a great season, finishing with a 11-1-1 record.
CHARLTON FINISHES REGULAR SEASON IN FIRST PLACE
The Charlton County baseball team won their final 2 games this past Saturday to finish the regular season at the top of the standings. There is still some hard work left to earn the first place trophy as there is a single elimination tournament to take place on November 7th for all the marbles. Great season so far!! Congrats go out to all the players.
