Fall Season has Ended
We hope to see you next season. We would like to invite players, parents, relatives, and fans to volunteer next season to help improve the league. Several Board Positions are available. Volunteers are necessary to keep things running smoothly. Without volunteers, the necessary paperwork and field maintenance, and important decision-making and quality coaching cannot take place to help your child develop into the player he/she is striving to be.

Fall Ball
Clackamas Babe Ruth offers a fall season to players age 13-15. You must be between these ages on the following dates:
15: October 1, 2009
14: May 1, 2010
13: May 1, 2010
Register online and send payments to: Clackamas Babe Ruth Baseball, PO Box 1003, Clackamas OR 97015. INDIVIDUAL FEE: $60 per player. TEAM FEE: $700.

Teams and Individuals are eligible to register. Teams must provide their own equipment, uniforms, and coaches. Individuals will be placed on a team on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will play 10-12 games from September 13-October 25. Games are played on Sundays (usually a doubleheader starting at Noon).

Fall Ball Outlook
Fall Ball is a relaxed atmosphere that focuses on fundamental development and plays games on weekends. During Fall Ball we stress quality playing time for everyone. We bat the roster with unlimited substitutions. We play against teams from SE Portland Babe Ruth. We accept individuals and teams.
This is a great opportunity to adjust to the bigger diamond for incoming Freshman.
The first game will be on September 13 and will finish with a single elimination tournament over the weekend of October 24-25, if the weather cooperates with us.

Free Subs
5-Run Limit per Inning
Pitchers: Maximum 3 IP per game
Pinch Runners: The last out made can pinch run for any runner on base at any time.
New Time Limit: Drop Dead at 2 hours, 15 minutes...or 7 innings.
All other Babe Ruth Rules apply.
Board Positions Open for 2010 Season
Several board positions are open for the 2010 season. If you are interested contact JJ Pearson at 503-387-5186. Nominations must be in prior to October 10. The selection process takes place at the Annual Meeting held on October 11.
Two positions need to be filled immediately: Sponsorship Coordinator and Secretary. The secretary helps with necessary paperwork over the course of the season and takes the minutes at 4 meetings per year. The sponsorship coordinator seeks sponsors from the community and keeps them up to date on the happenings of the league.
