Boone HS team holds on to early lead for second win
Boone jumped out to a 4-0 lead until the final 2 minutes of the second period when Coc/GS scored 2 last minute goals. Coc/GS added 2 more goals in the third but Boone was able to hold off Coc/GS attempt of a come back. Boone was lead by an outstanding performance by their goaltender Austin Harnish who stopped 43 of 47 shots he faced while Boone's offense was able to find the back of the net 5 times on only 17 shots.

DB HS Team wins first game of the 09-10 season
In a close battle our DB HS team took, a 5-4 lead into the 3rd period and held on to win the first game of the 09-10 season by a score of 10-7 over Oley/Muhlenberg. Lead by juniors O'Toole and Masteller who combined for a total of 10 points with 3 goals and 2 assist each. Also adding to the Boone offensive explosion was Captain, Jon Axford, Nick Shannon and freshmen A.J. Gazzillo who recorded his first point in only his first ever varsity game.
This was a great game by all, but one player stood out above everyone last night. That player was Tyler Loomis, who had the biggest goal of the game. Reason this goal was so big was less than a year ago, Tyler broke his femur during a DB HS game at the Body Zone. Tyler worked extremely hard over the past few months to get back on the ice for the start of his senior year. When the puck went off Tyler’s stick and in the back of the net late in the 3rd period, it was a wonderful thing to see and be a part of and it was great to see his teammates recognize him for his accomplishment.
