    Sailors Reach Championship in Big Dawg
    The Dead Sailors for the third straight tournament reach the championship game. The Sailors started the day with a 22-7 loss to Brothers United. The Sailors woke up and started with a 19-4 spanking of "OO". Next up was MJB Mortgage. It was the fifth game of the year against MJB and for the fourth straight time the Sailors walked away with a 18-9 victory. Charlies was next for the Sailors. It was another tight game, but the Sailors got by with a 11-9 win. That set up a rematch with Brothers United. A 16 run 2nd inning was good enough to put the Brothers away. The Sailors won the game 26-13. The Dead Sailors found themself back in the championship game Vs C-Town. The Sailors battled C-Town all the way but fell short in the 16-14 loss. The Sailors were led by tourney MVP Tom Garden who hit .772. All Stars for the Sailors were Greg Pellegrini (.714), DJ Wells (.667), Paul Webster (.625), Mike "Cheeseburger" Holloway and Tim Streavel.

    Sailors Win Budweiser Early Invite
    The Dead Sailors continued their winning ways winning “Rog & Daves Budweiser Early Invite”. In the round robin portion of the tournament, the Sailors beat MJB 20-19, lost to Funky Monkey 14-4 and lost to Headcase 21-16. It was time for the single elimination part of the tournament to begin. The #3 seed Sailors battled the #2 seed Charlies Bar and Grill to a 10-5 win behind some very solid defense. The Dead Sailors then had to face top seed MJB Mortgage again. Again the Sailors walked away with a 1 run victory, 14-13. The championship game brought back Headcase. The Dead Sailors revenged the earlier loss to Headcase with a 19-13 victory. Greg Pellegrini led the Sailors in hitting with a .684 average. All-Star Tim Streavel hit .681. Tommy Garden hit .650 for the Sailors. Paul Webster was named MVP and Pat Huston and DJ Wells were also named All Stars.

    Dead Sailors Win 2007 Winter Championship
    The Dead Sailors won their first tournament of the year winning the 2007 Winter Championship. The Sailors first game was a 23-20 win over the River Dawgs. Next up was MJB Mortgage. MJB put 17 runs up in the first inning then held on for a 17-7 win. It was time to start sending teams home for the Sailors. First up was Funkey Monkey. The Sailors crushed the Monkey 23-2 in 3 innings. Next up was MJB again. MJB again started with a 7-0 lead going into the 5th inning. The Never Dead Sailors rallied outscoring their foes 9-0 for a 9-7 victory. That set up the championship game against the River Dawgs. The Sailors started off fast taking a 17-0 lead. After 3 innings, the Dawgs had taken a 19-17 lead. That seemed to wake up the Sailors. The Dead Sailors added 30 runs the last 4 innings, beating the River Dawgs 47-25. Pat Huston led the Sailors hitting .705. Pick up player Chris Breir hit .705. Lee Castongauy hit .687 and Paul Webster hit 667 for the Sailors.
