2010 10U BLACK TEAM
Interest has been expressed in a 10U Black team that would be rostered in May after a tryout, and would play tournaments only (e.g., Memorial Day, and then weekends from the end of spring house league through the beginning of the second session of camp). We will solicit pre-registrations for the team in late February and if we have enough players for a legitimate tryout and the team itself appears to be of a sufficient talent level to play travel tournaments, then we will field a team. The 10U red and grey teams will still have one "camper" spot per team. The concept of the black team at this age group is to satisfy the demand for travel baseball among the players who tried out as campers last year or did not try out at all. We do not expect this third team, if we have it, to impair our ability to have a robust red and grey try out and teams.
